I wasn’t disappointed with this choice for lunch today. Had the brisket and sausage meat combo with beans and Mac and cheese. Can’t go wrong with the meat choices. Sides needed some seasoning.

Great old fashion type BBQ. The food and staff will keep you coming back for more. They are located between Nacogdoches and Harry Worzbach on the access road, south side of IH410 East.

It's a bit like Rudy's except costs less and you get unlimited beans if you want them. For whatever reason I felt blind and couldn't find things that were right in front of me. Like the napkins. The music was county from the 50s to the 80s which I love. Lastly the food was great and fresh/juicy. Would definitely go back.

The food is absolutely disgusting!! Sour coleslaw, squishy fatty turkey. (They definitely over brined it) the bbq sauce is ok. Just not on the meat. It’s really watery. The creamed corn is made with cheap corn. It’s not soft ! The pickles are really sour. The tea taste like they don’t wash their ern so it taste old . I just don’t see how this place is so packed H-E-B Texas BBQ has a better one!!!!

My first time here, and the brisket is disappointingly dry. I'll have to choose another option next time.

Front counter service was great. Did not like the flavor of the sauce. The meats were bland (brisket and sausage). The potato salad had no taste. The jalapeño mac and cheese was good and the sweet tea was excellent.

Old time station in San Antonio, smell the smokers as soon as you hit the door. Lean or fatty brisket selection. Turkey was moist and flavorful. Great beans and slaw. A must for SA travelers!

My first impression was, they could’ve trimmed it a little tighter. My first bite told me it’d be sacrilege to put any kind of barbecue sauce on this meat. Brisket is outstanding potato salad OK mac & cheese OK I’m wishing I had two sandwiches.
