When you walk into the barn door, the first thing you notice is the eclectic Western decor. The barn door has been around for many many years. We met the manager and the master griller and thanked them profusely for the wonderful meal that we had. We no longer live in San Antonio, but have found memories of having visited the barn door in the past. The service was beyond excellent, Kathy took care of all of our needs. she was very attentive, very friendly and quick to serve us....
I always wanted to go to the barn door since I have been in San Antonio. I finally got to go and it was a great experience. Large establishment that offers a variety of seating for all of your events you could think of. Quality food and service is good. Pleasant people and such a cute western atmosphere. Go check it out. The price is around Texas Roadhouse prices just so you know.
Sometimes, while out of town, I crave comfort food. After doing a quick Google search, I found The Barn Door, and I am so glad I did!
I ordered the mozzarella sticks, Cesar salad, rolls, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. The rolls were so light!!
