All their food is prepared daily by hand and is all excellent. They do get extremely busy from time to time. So you may have to wait a few minutes to place your order, and get your food, but it's well worth the wait. Big bib BBQ is outstanding and served with a smile.

Not hard to update your holiday hours on Google. You can print a paper and put on your door you're closed 12/26, you can change it online. Waste of time.

The 2 ladies that worked at the front counter on 12/24 at around 12pm should never work in customer service. Keeping the stereotype alive with the terrible attitudes.

Found this place today on my venture out to explore my new neighborhood! My plan was dollar tree 🌳 and a bag of ice. I Google mapped myself to the nearest dollar 🌳 and found myself next door to this place. Upon driving up I see cars and people waiting.. after my 🌳 shopping I started to talk with the folks hanging around; many repeat guest and those like me NEW convinced by those folks! Hung around made small talk of Christmas Eve plans etc.... Just before opening a young lady comes out and request if we cannot all fit it the walk way to close door until you can proceed thru... (No Flys! I imagined good thinking!) anyways when I approach the counter to place my order i was greeted with someone not so friendly, she looks as if im annoying her... I tell her I need my phone so I can see exactly how my ex-husband would place this order... signs no cell phones at counter whatever that's about so I had to ask for permission 🙃... I place my order of a small turkey breast off the pit and she was like we have no turkey... oh wow out alreay!?! I was maybe 5th in line... her oh no we just didn't make any... dang that's disappointing I've waited almost an hour just for this... give me a minute to think of something else... she rolled her eyes at me and decided to make an announcement to the line behind me of no turkey... would have be nice to know that during the hour I was waiting... maybe place a sign or announcement like she did in that moment! In a rush I ordered something anything because I waited all that time..I wasn't about to leave with nothing... not that my 25ish$ would have any affect on this company if I left empty handed but it was my time... they pay the employees by the hour... that's how I value my time... I digress... I ordered the brisket sandwich and I normally only eat chicken and turkey but I had my ex-husband on my mind so brisket it was.. it was good.. real good to the point that I will give @Big Big BBQ one more go.... skipping the sides.. I was not impressed at all (I tried the loaded baked potato casserole and Mac and cheese)...

I visit this location a lot due to it being close to my job. The food is always good and not to mention the Red Kool-Aid just like I used to make as a kid.

⭐️ Honest Review of Big Bib BBQ (Different Location – San Antonio)

I drove an hour to this Big Bib BBQ location because I’d seen their food all over Facebook and Instagram and wanted to finally try it. I wasn’t planning to dine in—just pick up an order and head back home. I had my three-month-old puppy in my arms, not on the floor, not touching anything. I was simply waiting to order, same as anyone else.

I even let other customers go ahead of me. If my puppy was an issue, they should’ve told me the moment I walked in, not when I finally got up to the counter. The cashier asked, “Is that a toy?”—even though everyone in the place could clearly see she was real and people were loving on her. Then she told me they’re “not dog-friendly,” but the way she said it was unnecessary and unprofessional. At that point, I should’ve taken it as a sign and walked out.

But I still ordered, and honestly, I regret it.

The Food & Portions:
• I ordered rib tips with green beans and sweet potato soufflé.
They gave me half a scoop of soufflé—barely enough for a baby.
• My rib tips portion looked like a handful, not a meal.
• My daughter’s brisket was also very little—way less than what I saw on plates being served to dine-in customers.
• When I asked about sides, the cashier only mentioned a few (green beans, etc.) and didn’t tell me about collard greens, chili, or other options. She totally overlooked them.

Meanwhile, the plates I saw people eating inside looked much fuller and neatly put together. So I’m not sure if the “to-go” orders get treated differently, but it definitely felt that way.

And for all of that, I ended up paying $39 for scraps. Completely unacceptable.

After the attitude about my puppy and the tiny portions, I can confidently say:
I wouldn’t drive back over here again.

Customer service matters. If you have a policy, say it politely and say it immediately—not after someone has been waiting in line. And don’t serve tiny portions on top of it. I gave them a chance, but this location won’t get a second one.

My sister and I went here today. We got 2 sausage plates and 1/2 pound of ribs. They have these tiny black containers for to go orders it's not even a plate anymore!!! We paid $60 for this little bit of food! We should have known something was wrong there was man eating br himself and a family. There was nobody eating! We will never by anything else. We only got 3 ribs which it's not 1/2 pound !!!! This place use to be good!!!! We also tried to order some greens was told we had to get the huge size. They don't have military discounts either. Go take out food at your own risk. They just lost 2 good customers !!!)

Ordered brisket, sausage, and ribs to go. When I arrived home I discovered they did not include my ribs. I called and they said they did not charge me. Brisket was very fatty little meat. Didn't really like the quality of sausage either. Not the first time I have been disappointed but thought I would try again. Same result. I basically threw away most of the brisket.
