Brooklynite is our favorite cocktail bar. Friendly and talented bartenders. It has the best cocktails in town but is also one of the most welcoming cocktail bars I've ever been to. Definitely stop in for their namesake drink The Brooklynite.

Don't let this empty building on the outside fool you, it has a speak easy vibe to it, the staff are always so friendly and serve complimentary cucumber water while sipping on you drink of choice. Many great options. And the decor has a neat vintage feel to it.

Brookylnite has some speakeasy vibes. It's a bit out of the way but the decor is quirky and cool, the drink selection is extensive, and there is a good amount of comfortable sofa seating available. I didn't like much of their cocktail selections (not a fan of overly sweet drinks and the bartender couldn't think of suitable replacements for me.. BUT, wine is always a savior). More importantly, however, there is a photobooth (!!!!) that allows you to retake pictures twice if needed. Cost is $5. Interesting enough of a place to visit, especially on a date.

The staff were really nice and offered great advice for their drinks. The drinks were very good and I enjoyed watching the bartender make them. The watermelon shot is a MUST!

This bar is way too stuck up for how utterly mediocre it is. The drinks are average at best. The bar staff is always rude. Oh am I inconveniencing you by ordering a drink? It's always 1000 degrees inside. If drinking overpriced cocktails on stiff furniture rescued from street corners arranged like a condemned antique shop is your thing you will love this place.

11/17/18 Arrival: Before stepping one foot into the place, the hostess warned us that it was very crowded, there were three parties, and the air-conditioning was out. In other words, drinks will be hard to come by, we're gonna be uncomfortably hot, and the service will be weak. Since we were committed to attending one of three parties, we ignored her warning like the seasoned party animals we are. Entrance: It was hot, there were only two bartenders, and the line was stacked three deep. We had no choice but to line up and wait. 20 minutes later, we were handed our drinks. They were fine, not great, but we were there to celebrate a birthday; not to complain. Party: Held in a private room with one door, of course it was hot. The party decor and room were great, but it was too hot to ignore. I offer this: How about announcing that due to the situation, certain drinks will be on special, or adjust the menu so that drinks could come out faster. Open the back door to allow a flow of fresh air. The bartenders could have had some fun with it instead of acting like nothing was wrong. Engage the crowd, smile, ask for a little patience. In other words, do something to ease the situation. By midnight, half of the crowd was gone. Never going back!
