The Buckhorn Cafe Reviews
The Buckhorn Saloon and Museum is definitely a place to visit while you’re in San Antonio!! The amount of animals and artifacts on display are absolutely amazing. I’ll have to try their restaurant the next time I’m there, but overall with it being my first time visiting the Buckhorn I give it a 10/10! 😁
Had a great time enjoyed the saloon and museum.

The Buckhorn Cafe is a longstanding and unique establishment near the Alamo, offering a diverse experience. Visitors can explore three museums in one, including a captivating display of taxidermy and peculiar oddities. The on-site restaurant and saloon provide an additional draw, making it a popular and affordable destination for both locals and tourists. The saloon, which has a rich history of legends, is neat to see and full of animals and artifacts on display. The museum features 520 species of mounted wildlife, with highlights like a Brady Buck with record-setting antlers and a world-record holding marlin. The Texas Ranger Museum showcases authentic artifacts and recreations of historical scenes, including Bonnie & Clyde's getaway car. The lively atmosphere makes it a fun place to consider a meal or just explore. The second-story "Five Museums in One" is described as a treasure-filled freak show with exhibits like a cathedral made of 50,000 matchsticks and an 8-legged, 3-eared lamb. Visitors often find it interesting and worth a visit, with fun attractions like a shooting gallery and quirky funhouse mirrors for photo ops. The Buckhorn Cafe combines history, oddities, and good food in one memorable location.
