So I actually went to Ireland back in October. I miss Ireland so we came here. The inside reminds me of a place called Durty Nellys in Ireland its next to Bunratty Castle. Its a little darker though which makes it kinda hard to see ur food. Thats why I took off one star. The fish n chips was good reminds me of Ireland except for one thing. The cooks didnt let the fish rest before putting them on the chips so the fish got soggy really fast. Thats why I took off two stars. The first one was great but after that i had to take to go so I can put in air fryer. The tartar sauce is amazing. The sausage rolls I will go back for.

I specifically came here for the full Irish breakfast. It was fabulous…simply put, it was worth the drive from New Braunfels.

I stopped by The Cottage Bar planning to sit at the bar and ended up catching happy hour which is absolutely the move. I ordered the buffalo cauliflower wings and wow. I had never tried them before and now I am fully obsessed. Crispy bold and flavorful without trying too hard. One of those dishes that surprises you in the best way.

I paired it with a mule from the happy hour menu and it hit just right. Cold refreshing and balanced which made it easy to settle in and stay awhile.

The bar itself feels like a classic neighborhood tavern. Lots of rich wood paneling warm textures and low lighting that reminds me of an old school dive bar you would find up north but polished and intentional. It is cozy without feeling cramped and relaxed without feeling sloppy.

This is the kind of place that works for a quick bite after work an easy happy hour or a laidback date where you actually want to talk. Comfortable welcoming and quietly charming. I came for the bar but I will definitely be back for the food.

The food was great and the service was excellent! I was actually served by the owner Phillip who is a true Irishman. You have to try the cottage pie if you do stop by, it was so damn good. I got the fish and chips as well which definitely hit the spot. Unfortunately I can't currently drink due to health issues, but some of the drinks I saw being served looked really good

Lots of fun at their Irish Block Party. Even with a big crowd food was awesome. I had the fried Irish sausage and chips. I also took some whiskey bread pudding home. Yummy!
