Okay food and bad customer service. The restaurant was empty yet the waitress took about 5 minutes to walk over to us even though she was sitting at one of the tables. She also did not bother to greet us when we walked in or even acknowledge us. The beans that came with the mini tacos were completely cold like they had been left sitting out for a while. The only thing I liked was their agua de Limón. Definitely would not go back

My husband and I had lunch at The Flying Chancla today and we were not disappointed. I had the Mini Tacos Al Pastor which were delicious. I liked that they came with grilled onions on the side. I did substitute Refried Beans instead of Borracho beans as a personal preference. The refried were great for dipping chips in. The chips were also exceptional. My husband had a Al Pastor taco on a flour tortilla. He was also happy with his choice. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying different breakfast dishes. Our waitress did not speak English which was not a problem for us.

I met my daughter here for lunch today and we both had the mini tacos (street tacos). The meat was so tender and well flavored; served with delicious borracho beans, grilled onions, cilantro and a grilled jalapeño. We were so impressed ?. They also have very good complimentary chips and salsa. The staff are friendly and accommodating too.

However, I regret to inform you that the food itself did not live up to my expectations.Specifically, I tried your breakfast tacos, and I must say I was disappointed. The flavor of the tacos was severely lacking, leaving me with a sense of dissatisfaction. Additionally, I found the tortilla to be thick and chewy, which further impacted the overall texture and enjoyment of the dish.The most disappointing aspect was the machacado and egg taco. To my surprise, it did not contain machacado as advertised. Instead, it seemed to be filled with barbacoa, but was incorrectly labeled as machacado and egg. This lack of accuracy in the menu description left me extremely dissatisfied with my choice.As a customer, I believe it is important to provide honest feedback in order to help establishments improve and maintain their standards. I really wanted to like this place. I think there's a lot of potential with the theme but ultimately, the service was one step short of unfriendly and being greeted with a sign saying a refill on chips was going to cost extra just set the wrong tone from the start. They were out of Mexican coke so I settled for a can. The food wasn't bad but wasn't amazing like the reviews led me to believe (except the charro beans... those were really good).
