I’ve been here a few times now and I am always impressed! The decor is like walking into a Mexican art gallery. The food portions are perfectly sized and the quality is so amazing that it feels like I’m eating at a Michelin restaurant. My favorite is the chicken tinga dish which is light yet savory. Recently I tried the Mole Amarillo, Piña y Habanero. Yes, that’s right. Mole that’s yellow. It sounds odd but it was delicious. I didn’t leave a drop on my plate when I finished. The crispy pork belly was so tender, a fork cut easily through it and the top was crispy and slightly sweet like award winning barbecue might be.Their margaritas are some of the best I’ve ever had and are always presented so nicely - never messy. The service people are attentive, quick and kind. This is one of my favorite places in town to take visitors to show them good Mexican food.
Im giving this place 4 stars because of the drinks. I would actually give it 5 but the service was off. The staff is SO friendly, but it's very organized. I really truly recommend this place but something needs to be done about organization. Please. This place is perfect otherwise. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Super bad service. The waitress took about 15-20 minutes to even ask what drinks we wanted and after 45 minutes our food came but never our drinks. No apologies for the bad service or for never bringing our drinks. Super disappointing.

The drinks here are good. They have a typical beer menu but the margaritas and other mixed drinks are really the main attraction. There are various margarita options. The food menu here is not traditional Mexican food but it's still tasty. I tried the birria tacos and the shrimp aguachile. It's not a place to visit if you're super hungry as the menu items are smaller plates. The service was great and our server was attentive and answered any questions we had about the menu. Nice spot for a casual date night or drinks with friends. The music and outdoor seating made for a great atmosphere.

Could not give this restaurant a stronger recommendation. The margaritas were fantastic (house margarita and seis chiles pictured) - truly some of the best Margs. But the Queso Fundido de Frutas is in a league of its own … unlike any other queso with both elements of sweet and cheesy. Also had the Mole Verde Enchilads which had a great unique flavor. The real stars of the show were the wonderful waitress and bartender. So kind, helpful, and welcoming. A 10/10 experience
The staff is very courteous and the drinks are refreshing. Parking is a bit of an issue, so plan accordingly. Once you find a spot where you won't get towed, you're good!

This is a gem in San Antonio and deserves all the praise. Gabriela, the server, is the sweetest and remembers repeat customers orders and is great at making suggestions based on their previous orders. Additionally, Chef Johnny does an amazing job at keeping the menu fresh and new. I have not ordered the same plate twice (except for the corn brûlée).

Loved the atmosphere. The torta bun was cold. They didn't toast it with butter. The home made chips made up for the cold
