We tried the fried chicken, patty melt and wagu soup and everything was expertly prepared. This was a delightful find and we will absolutely return. Super friendly staff, quick service!

Whoever came up with the idea of combining korean fried chicken and chicken sandwiches, I salute you š«” The fried chicken was incredibly flavorful and whatever was sprinkled on top of the chicken gave more texture and crunch, which went super well with the soft milk bread toast! The kimchi was also super yummy and had a nice bright taste - I actually wish I could ask for the recipe for the kimchi.
The service was excellent and my friend and I really enjoyed looking at the decor around the restaurant as well!
If you parked in the parking structure, you can actually get your parking validated so you don't need to pay for parking. Just ask for the QR code that validates your parking :)

Talk about a happy discovery! We were looking for Korean food after the Woosung āB4 We Dieā concert and stumbled over Golden Goose here on Google. We walked in about 10 and it was pretty quiet, but we were greeted quickly and any questions we had were answered cheerfully.
I got the savory beef with rice and could not have asked for a better dish. The beef was thinly sliced and perfectly sauced. It had a nice low heat that built up slowly to a delicious and delicate warmth on the back of the tongue and the radish kimchi was bright and spicy without being too sharp.
My friend got the āYuringiā friendly and it was divine. Perfect cubes of tofu with a delightfully crisp crust and firm silky insides, tossed in another incredibly delicious sauce. The sauce wasnāt heavy enough to overwhelm the tofu, but had enough body to stick to the tofu and add the right amount of flavor to each morsel.
The owner and other employee were absolutely delightful to chat with (and I am going to apologize because TBI makes it a stone beeeeeech to remember names) and obviously put a great sea of thought into the menu and how they wanted to present their dishes. Also, so so proud of the chef and her food, which says a LOT to me.
Iām from Austin, but this is a place worth making the drive to and I will be back. Now, if youāll excuse me, I have some beef and rice to eat for breakfast. (Also, go support local restaurants! And listen to Woosung -and K-pop in general- while youāre at it. Neither will disappoint you.)
Vegetarian options: The vegan fried tofu is amazing.
Parking: They validate for two hours in the nearby parking garage!

For lunch this spot is just a little pricey. I had to pay extra for the rice and that is nuts. The chicken was the flavorful and crispy with a good amount of heat.
Just not crazy about the prices. $18.39 for lunch no drink.

I have a lot of faith in Sue Kimās cooking, and this doesnāt disappoint. I look forward to eating this more than my doctor would like.
But Sue: if the sandwiches undersell, itās because of the photography.

I think most restaurants really suck, but this one is great. I've tried something new every time I've gone back and have never been disappointed. Everything on the menu seems well considered and appreciated by the chef (contrast that with a menu where you start getting weary as you stray further from the top menu items - like has the chef even given the fish taco on the back of the third page a single thought in the last 5 years?).
Some people have mentioned the price point in other reviews, but I think the price point is spot on. It probably even leans into the customer's favor considering the quality of what you get. I'm still bringing home half a sandwich if I get one. I'd probably be able to pull 2 meals out of the bulgogi too if I could stop myself. But I can't and don't really care.
I'm hoping it stays open forever. If Golden Goose left I would go back down to truly loving like 3 restaurants in this city instead of 4.
Food was amazing. Best fries Iāve ever had!
I usually donāt leave reviews, but the food here is amazing. Itās a small family business and the owner is extremely friendly. Highly recommend to visit!
