It took 30 minutes to get our food. The 2 girls running the restaurant were too busy talking on their cell phones to prep the food. When asked to get off thier phones for our order they served up a really bad attitude. There are aeveral other and better options. Pass or you will be disappointed.

Great outdoor space. Outdoor seating area is a must if you can make it out when the weather is nice. We went for brunch on a Saturday. Everyone was friendly, good service. Would recommend and going back again.

I have celiac so all my reviews include information about gluten-free accessibility! This place is located inside the food court in Pearl Station, where there's often a farmers market. I don't know how often the farmers market is there because I'm not from Texas but we were in San Antonio on a Saturday morning and there was also a gluten free crepe stand, which I would have ordered from if I had cash cause this place was nothing special. I ordered a basic garden salad which was great to have fresh veggies after two weeks backpacking in big bend, but it was small and $9. Salad dressing was good. Not many gluten free options but they're marked on the menu. I didn't get sick, they noted it was a gluten allergy on the receipt and changed their gloves.

My favorite place to get a delicious, fresh meal in San Antonio!

I got the bowl and added avocado. The food was really pretty but lacked flavor. The pickled veggies were great, but honestly wouldn't buy it again.

Presentation was lovely but food lacked flavor. I got the bowl and added chicken. The rice was bland, and the vegetables lacked seasoning. Very fresh but not exactly comforting.

The food is good but the cashier was not very friendly. I was the one greeting with a hello how are you and I am the customer. I also said thank you after the transaction and got the silent treatment. Same happened when I picked up my food. Manners are hard to come by i guess. That’s a shame

We stopped in for a glass of wine with the dogs and sat on the patio. What a great place.

Fresh and tasty! This was my third time at The Good Kind and it was so good. I had their Mac and cheese and it's a delightful treat. The cheeses and garlic crumb they use along with the fresh baby tomatoes highlights all the yummy flavors and provides a beautiful burst and of all the right things. The staff is friendly and always willing to answer questions. only reason it's a 4/5 is because it's a small portion of Mac and cheese for $10, but it is quality so I was okay in the end. They do run out of their Mac and cheese, so try to go early.

I love love love the market bowl with the hollyhock dressing! And the wings are so yummy, one order isn’t enough. The handmade margarita is also so refreshing.

I was excited to try out this place & delighted to see healthier options to indulge in at the Pearl. I opted to try the market bowl & when served to me, it looked extremely delicious. As soon as I took a bite of the grilled chicken, I began to regret the amount of money I had just spent on this bowl & especially paying extra for the chicken & Avacado. The chicken was so dry, it was hard and just difficult to chew... I only got 3 little slivers of an avocado that I paired extra for, as well. The only saving grace for me was the dressing I added .. it helped soften up the chicken just a little bit. Needles , to say, I feel like I wasted a lot of money & should've just stuck with a sandwich.

They struggled to get my order with the proper ingredients. I guess sandwiches are pre made because that’s the excuse I got
