Found this place by accident on Thanksgiving night when we were in town and almost everything NOT a terrible overpriced tourist chain was closed. Came back two nights later before leaving town because it was so good. Very tasty standards like saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, chicken kurma, naan, mango lasse, etc. Fast service, great prices, great location right by the Riverwalk and cathedral for tourists and next to the courthouse for anyone with business there. (Also has a kids menu with things like chicken nuggets and fries if your kids are being tired and cranky and hangry and don’t like Indian food.) If you’re in San Antonio, check them out!
Food was good. The service was also nice.

Great experience ordered Chicken Tikka and it was very delicious. What could you further ask in an end a Classic Milk Tea to refresh myself. Must recommended. Owner is very considerate of customer experience.

It is much better than Spice Indian place also downtown.
Edit: Cost for a basic entree is $17 and sometimes it isn’t even good. They don’t do buffets anymore. quality is not worth the price.
reduce the price and people will come but until then it’s not worth it at all.
Ordered to go on a sunday night. Each curry had about 8 cubes of protein in it and was almost $20 each - more expensive than if you order on the website somehow. Naan was alright but didnt give me the fuzzies. Youre better off driving to the north side of town.

When you give your customers hot water from the sink, that just tells how bad your customer service is and how less you care about your customers. The interior atmosphere of your place and the molded exposed brick walls are also another indication of how dirty your restaurant is. The health department should inspect this restaurant and ensure that they comply with the regulations.

Food was pretty good but giving it 3 stars because of false advertising regarding lunch specials (the lunch specials are only if u order take out) and the overall price of the food ($32 after leaving an 18% tip ).

The food was decent but beware of the auto water charges! When we just sat down, the server put two bottled water on our table before asking what we want to drink. We only drank one bottle. The other one was unopened. When we paid for our bill which I thought it's kind of high since we only ordered one entree and an appetizer, I told the server that we didn't drink that bottled water. She said she already put it on our bill for $2 per bottle! If you don't want water, make sure to tell your server before she assumed that you will take it.

I had the curry chicken and thought the flavor was great and the rice was cooked well. The garlic naan was cooked just right. My only complaint is a couple pieces of naan were a little thin but it did have good flavor.

This place is delicious! I got the Saag paneer and was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it was. Their shrimp curry was amazing as well. However, their tomato soup had a rather strange taste (but who goes to an Indian restaurant for tomato soup anyway?). Their naan: amazing. Their pastries: amazing. Their curries: AMAZING. Great place for a quiet and flavor-packed lunch!
Vegetarian options: They have great vegetarian options.
