Decided to try this location since I've found in the Michelin list. Never trying Caribbean food, I was open but of course a little skeptical. So with that said. It's definitely a flavorful offering. Almost everything has been infused with flavors.. maybe a bit earthy or bitter for some, but good non the less. Would recommend just to try. I think their jerk chicken is better than their standard fries chicken

Stopped by this little spot for the first time, and let me tell you—this place is a whole diamond. I got the mixed chicken plate (jerk and fried), with cabbage and carrots and rice and beans. Every bite was on point. Flavorful chicken, perfectly seasoned sides. They’ve earned a repeat visit from me.

Double back which means we coming back, chicken crispy fresh hot crunchy cooked to order and was very good sides Yams 10 flavor...... Mac n cheese I know this for a fact it's the best Mac n Cheese I've ever had. Ox tail if you are looking for the punch your flavor palette then this dish is it. My goodness peas rice cabbage plantains n ox tail yes yes yes. Just danced while eating it's truly good and good for the soul.

Best Caribbean restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Highly recommend the catfish and grits. Was with a party of 4 and everything I had was great, flavored perfectly. Attentive workers as well as good music playing. Definitely recommend here, no question

Omg 🔥 This Place is another level 🍗🍗🍗🐔🐔🐔 is 🔥 fire Both Jerk chicken and Fried chicken 🍗 ,the pineapple 🍍 coslaw is Sooooo Darn Delicious different definitely different 😋, the atmosphere is awesome, pet friendly & kid friendly.its a must try .

Great food in San Antonio - Carribbean style with Texan sized portions.
I really wanted to like this place, but the jerk chicken was a huge letdown. The portion was shockingly small—I’ve honestly seen bigger leg quarters on quails—and the flavor was worse. Instead of that deep, spicy, smoky jerk profile, it tasted harsh and acrid, like creosote, as if the chicken spent more time absorbing smoke than seasoning.
To be fair, not everything missed the mark. The collard greens were actually very good—well-seasoned and tender. The masala fries were also solid: crispy and flavorful.
That said, the prices make the experience hard to justify. Tiny portions paired with disappointing protein just don’t add up, especially when you leave still hungry. If you’re going to charge premium prices, the food needs to either impress or at least fill the plate—and this did neither.

I ordered curry chicken combo plate and was disappointed. The chicken was not fully cooked. It was red kn the inside. I kept throwing it in the trash. I wasted $33. I'm never again going back there.

The bad... out of masala fries... dang it. Went with coworkers. I liked the jerk chicken. The best part of dinner was watching the coworker that loved the fried chicken, but who can't handle spicy take a big bite of the jerk chicken. He was not a fan of the jerk chicken. Some of coworkers didn't like the vinegar notes in the jerk chicken, everyone loved the fried chicken. Everyone enjoyed their side. I really liked the sweet potato and plantains.
