First time at The Lion Indian Cuisine. I went specifically for thier dinner buffet and it was very tasty! Lots of flavor! Not a very large selection of items on the buffet list but all the essentials were there. The staff was great! Super friendly and very quick to refill your drink! The ambiance is a little weak but I was OK with it. The restaurant has a full menu to order from and it seemed to do very well with takeout orders. This is the best Indian restaurant in town. I always come for the buffet, and it’s always delicious. I recommend it to everyone.
My favorites: the chicken tikka masala, karahi chicken, and saag paneer.
And for dessert: the kheer and mango custard.

This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in San Antonio! We always get the buffet, and the food is absolutely delicious every single time. You really can't beat the price—it's under $15 per person, and the value is incredible for the quality you get. They also have a great reward program, so you can earn points for a free meal occasionally!
My only small wish is that they would rotate the variety of dishes on the buffet a bit more often...
