Truly one of the most innovative and consistently delicious restaurants in san antonio! The ribeye and orecchiette were absolutely incredible and their wine program never misses. Worth a visit for any occasion!

Seems like a local classic spot. Very yummy food. Dining room is very loud though, I felt like I was yelling to the person right across from me. Maybe some sound dampening could be of use?

Great food, very intimate dining atmosphere. Good service. A little bit loud inside but otherwise an overall lovely experience to go with 2-4 people (very small dining area). Would recommend having a reservation.

We had the ribeye and crispy pork belly. Both were perfect and flavorful. The ribeye was the best I've had in San Antonio in awhile, and I've had some at the more expensive steakhouses. Highly recommend!

Incredible food and immaculate service from our wonderful waitress McKenzie. Cozy vibes and every dish we had was phenomenal and very affordable. We had the duck charcuterie, gnocchi, chocolate mousse and the Thai corn fritter. AMAZING. I will be dreaming about this food until we get a chance to visit again!!

The food was fabulous, as was the service. It was a little chilly inside due to the air conditioning blowing, but other than that, the atmosphere was nice. The tables are close together, so if you like privacy, then I'd suggest sitting outside. Those tables seemed more spread out.
Overall it was a great experience and if I lived in the area I'd definitely go back.

Tiny tables and food portions. Highly over priced. The menu states the servings are meant for sharing but that's not the case. Service was mediocre at best. I was drinking water and the glass was empty most of the time unless I asked. Food simply isnt that good. Its not bad, but its not great. Its average. 3 stars is generous.

Best restaurant in SA. Delicious; hip yet down to earth. My friend and I were actually giggling as we ate the pork belly and mushroom courses on this iteration of their menu. Bel was our waitress and just killed it w the suggestions. Can’t wait to see what the next menu brings. As I was leaving, I ran into a dear friend—we bonded over our shared love of our fave restaurant, Magpie. Also: try the corn fritter!
Absolutely loved our dinner at Magpie! The corn fritter had a sneaky spicy kick, the duck was rich and flavorful, and the ribeye was so tender my husband cut it with a butter knife—perfectly medium rare and outstanding. The bread was moist and delicious, and we couldn’t pick just one dessert, so we got both the moose and the buttercream cake. The cake was fresh, sweet, and our favorite! Service was great and the food came out like a tasting menu, perfectly timed. It’s a small space, so it did get a bit loud—definitely make a reservation. Worth it for the amazing food!
Food was great! They were understaffed at the time of our visit so expect to wait a little bit. We waited an hour and 30 mins in total (order, dish, desert, and check). Servers were great. I ordered the Cod today. the sear was an overdone and was under salted giving the dish a bitter overtone. The cod would have benefited a lot from some acid. I would recommend anyone coming to try the ribeye. 186$ total dinner desert appetizer and tip for 2 people.
Definitely a wine and tapas places. A lot of the food was drenched in oil but as others have mentioned, the butter cake and milk bread were good. Place seemed small and loud but we were also seated next to a drunk birthday party. Wine was good and their choices were extensive.
Everyone at the restaurant seemed to be a local which was a good sign. Every single fish was delicious. The bread was phenomenal. Other special dishes included the cabbage and the dak galbi chicken.
