I have always loved Melting Pot but will not be back. The food was very disappointing and it was not a dining experience worth $180 for myself and 2 teens. The cheese fondue was OK but for a queso like cheese we thought that we would be served tortilla chips. The vast majority of “dipping items” was bread. The apples and veggies were very light portions. Years ago the salad plate was larger and much better, we were served a small portion of Caesar salad thrown on the plate. The steak lovers entree was also disappointing. The steak was very plain even though we used the mojo cooking broth. Our server was just OK, i never did get ice for my water. The candy bar chocolate was the best part but again, very stingy with the dipping items. $150 was wasted ($180 with tip). Don't waste your money, go to a nice steakhouse instead.

Everything was great except our server. At least two other servers saw our empty plates or glasses and took care of it. One even apologized. Our server was just doing the minimum at best, except when it came to paying the bill. He was right there. He didn't explain the specials. Our grill was cold and took over 10 minutes to cook the Shrimp. Just not the experience we have had in the past!!!

The fondue experience was outstanding, the customer service from our server Nick on point. Really nice place for a date.

We have done fondue on occasion over the years, but the popularity seems to be waning. This was the only one we found in all San Antonio, and after our visit might be our last go for fondue. for what we spent, some food was good but other parts were flat out bad (the salads especially). We started with the grill but with the ridges it wasn’t getting everything cooked thoroughly, they allowed us to switch to the oil. The meats were very good quality but it took time. Dessert was of course very good.

All said, for the price it really wasn’t the experience it used to be, and to be spending $130 for the two of us before tip, I don’t know that we’ll try it again.

Came here to celebrate my daughter‘s 17th birthday with her boyfriend. Which was his first time at melting pot. I've been here several times and have enjoyed it and he enjoyed it being his first time. We did miss that they took the Quattro for Macchio cheese off the menu, but The meal was still good. Do wish the Quattro cheese would come back.

This place is great! The food is great. The drinks are awesome. The staff makes the experience excellent. In a rush; try their newest offering - happy hour. Yes.... Get delicious offerings from the bar -food and drink. I love their modern old fashion. Excellent table service and great bartenders - esp Brandon . Always a great experience.

Food and service were both very good. We did the 4 course menu and had a couple drinks as well. Everything was perfect, from the cheese with the breads, fruits, and veggies, to the main course selection of meats and cooking options. The desert was similarly great. We chose the turtle chocolate option and it came with more than enough desert food options along with more fruits for it. Very pleased with the experience and the price being $52/person not including the drinks is totally fair. Our waitress was wonderful as well.

Amazing as always. We had a great anniversary dinner and the staff went above and beyond to make it feel special. Also, I can't get enough of the blackberry sage lemonade! If you haven't been there, you will be not be disappointed!

Nick, our server, was an incredible host of our night. We love coming to the melting pot because of the experience, but he elevated it tenfold. Thank you so much, Nick!

This is the only location I've been to but I've been coming here since they first opened in town. I've done the four course dinner and Coq au Vin but my favorite is just the Wisconsin cheese fondue and a chocolate fondue for dessert. It is so simple and yet so satisfying. Typically I would get just the milk chocolate fondue for dessert but recently tried the Flaming Turtle which I found to actually be too sweet. My new favorite is the Bananas Foster which is almost as good as the same named dessert in New Orleans. They now have dessert dippers, a tray of rainbow sprinkles, ground pretzels and chocolate chip cookies. The salty dippers add a great contrast to the sweetness of the dipping dessert pieces covered in chocolate. Service was exceptionally good tonight. Our waiter was very attentive and mentioned they now have Happy Hour on weekdays, 5-7pm, half price fondues when you sit at the bar. I definitely plan to take advantage of that!

The restaurant could probably use some updating; it's somewhat dark and a little dreary. We went for restaurant week. We added a cheese course, and then had an oil pot & the flat grill for the veggie & protein course, and ended with the chocolate course. The heating elements did not all work well, so it took a lot longer than expected to heat everything. But fondue is a fun meal, and the chocolate courses were so good!
