My $1 iced tea with the daily lunch special ended up costing $4+. The host asked if I wanted my tea in a To Go cup and I said, “Sure.” —don’t mind paying 40 cents for a To Go cup. But apparently it cancels out the lunch special price and I had to pay $3.59 plus 40 cents for the cup!?! What? How does that make sense? Cashier just shrugged a shoulder and gave me a blank look. Okay, well the food was decent and my server was super, but that ruined the whole meal for me. Why didn’t the kid mention the price difference? I hate getting ripped off, even $3.

Not sure but I have eaten here a few times. However today the Fajita meat with the enchilada plate had a funky taste consistent with old refrigerated meat that was reheated. The sauce sort of covered it up but it was very dry and tough to chew and the meat not sauced tasted very funky. Previous times I have had this here it was fine. Might need to do some quality control. The Enchiladas and the sauce, rice and beans were fine. Tea is a bit pricey.

We lived in Dallas, and Blanco cafe is family favorite place to go as soonest we arrived there in the morning for breakfast ❤️

Diner-Style which I expected for a breakfast and lunch only restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was great. The carne guisada was AMAZING. The green sauce is spicy but flavorful. We loved everything.

Food is ok. Not amazing and definitely not worth a revisit. Portions are big. Service was horrible and the place was almost empty (during the week). But we drove by other restaurants and they were packed so we should have saw this as a red flag.

Came with kids and wasn't even offered a kids chair. I didn't see any so I thought they didn't have any. Once I went to the bathroom I saw they had stacks of them. Waitress was too busy gossiping with her regulars.

Everyone was so cold and uninviting. Immediately gave us the check after bringing the food out. Google let me down on this place. I think you can find better food in the area. The breakfast tacos are nothing special.

This was a recommendation from our tour guide yesterday. We tried it and were totally blown away. We got a variety of dishes and demolished them all. :)
