My $1 iced tea with the daily lunch special ended up costing $4+. The host asked if I wanted my tea in a To Go cup and I said, “Sure.” —don’t mind paying 40 cents for a To Go cup. But apparently it cancels out the lunch special price and I had to pay $3.59 plus 40 cents for the cup!?! What? How does that make sense? Cashier just shrugged a shoulder and gave me a blank look. Okay, well the food was decent and my server was super, but that ruined the whole meal for me. Why...
Not sure but I have eaten here a few times. However today the Fajita meat with the enchilada plate had a funky taste consistent with old refrigerated meat that was reheated. The sauce sort of covered it up but it was very dry and tough to chew and the meat not sauced tasted very funky. Previous times I have had this here it was fine. Might need to do some quality control. The Enchiladas and the sauce, rice and beans were fine. Tea is a bit pricey.
Diner-Style which I expected for a breakfast and lunch only restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was great. The carne guisada was AMAZING. The green sauce is spicy but flavorful. We loved everything.
