San Antonio had an anchor for the Gay leather & Levi community that for years was like a second home to many. Sadly, that comfortable and familiar hangout was forced to close down a few years ago. Not long after...a few months at best...the empty and dark structure burned to the ground. A gas station that was built on adjacent land bought the vacant property and paved it into an extension to the station's parking lot. All of the memories...both good and bad...reduced to an asphalt covered parking lot.

Went there on a Saturday night and it was GREAT!! Will go there again, but won't order the bourbon and Coke ($5), no bourbon in it. Well, a drop or two maybe. Stick to beer.

This bar has moved it's not the same after merging with essence. The owner should by the old essence build at auction from the tax man!

This bar has moved due to building code violations. However lives on in 800 as essence annex with a bar that is always pavked
First time, from out of town. Figured I'd check the place out. 15 minutes later, money in hand, still no drink. Wouldn't suggest stopping by here unless you're a regular.
