We ate here for breakfast as it was part of our hotel & received a discount as my daughter is a Hilton employee. We had a rough night prior (drinks) & really needed to fuel up. I got overnight oats, my first time ever & they were absolutely delicious, who would have thought. I'm not sure how lunch/dinner is as I only had breakfast here. Staff very pleasant.

I ate here with my family for breakfast and it was wonderful! Service was excellent and our waiter was so nice and was wonderful at her job! Atmosphere was great and if you eat outside your right by the water which is a pretty view! The food was amazing as well I got the buttermilk pancakes with a side of breakfast potatoes and it was excellent but I really enjoyed the potatoes, my family also enjoyed their food very much but the only thing they said about their food is that the food is smaller portions so they were a little hungry after so I do recommend ordering a side! Overall this place was excellent and we will definitely be coming back!

As we walked up to the restaurant I saw the river and it was beautiful and then we walked in and the waiter was very nice. Then we ordered and it wasn’t too long of a wait, then we got our food and it was so delicious. The only thing was that I wish there would have put more on our plates because I wasn’t completely full. But other than that the experience was amazing.Vegetarian options: They were a lot of greensKid-friendliness: They were very nice and respectful

We had Lox board and French toast. Very good with good service from Kim C. Nice to watch people on the River walk, from the outdoor patio.

Food was right on par. Somethings were substituted in my drinks due to them being out of items. Didn’t like that as I wasn’t informed until after. Sent one drink back. Overall though the enchiladas and the wings were more than acceptable.

Another opportunity to stay at the Hilton Palacio del Rio while attending a conference. Early Saturday morning breakfast options were limited but the staff at The River's Edge were friendly, attentive, and fast. I had a hot cup of coffee to combat the incredibly well working AC within a minute of being seated. My food came out hot and the potatoes were perfect - crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. My server even offered me a cup of coffee to go when I signed the check.

Incredibly rude service. Started right at the front door, hostess seemed to be bothered that customers are walking into a restaurant. Waitresses are brash.

I think the restaurant should boost their food quality. I ordered a cheeseburger but it was a burger and couldn’t see through cheese. It was a bit overcooked and no unique test. We also tried the pastry board which was okay. But the croissant and muffin were not fresh while the title was “cold and fresh”. Our server was nice though and very polite. The restaurant also has a good view of riverwalk.

Food was great, service was amazing, and it was a beautiful setting! Right next to the river walk! Definitely recommend

I went to go have lunch with my husband and they sat us outside in the cold. Then never served us while serving and seating everyone around us. They also brought everyone else blankets to keep warm after they seated us but not once offered us a blanket. We sat there for awhile and I mean awhile and they still never served us, so we left and will not return.

Staff can’t handle a rush, and is really inconsistent with how they served tables. Had to walk out because of not being served.

Absolutely the worst service, we were sat outside and then neglected by the staff to take our order, but continued serving everyone around us, which were sat after us. The woman completely disregarded my fiances request, and again continued serving others that were sat after us. Plain and simply uncalled for. Figure out your staffing needs.
