The Steer is a laid-back San Antonio dive bar with an old-school Texas vibe. The red entrance and classic sign set the tone, and inside you’ll find a long wooden bar, drink specials with fun names, and plenty of neon beer signs.

It’s got pool tables, darts, a few gaming machines, and TVs for catching the game. No frills, just a chill spot to grab a drink, shoot some pool, and hang out with friendly locals.

This place is bigger on the inside than it appears from outside.Came here for the DJ and this is my first time being here.TVs pool tables darts and a huge bar.Nice place for time out, Thursdays special is domestic drafts $2.25 4-11pm.

The Steer doesn't always serve food, but when they do, it's usually delicious. Karen, the owner, is a lovely lady, John, her husband is really cool. I recommend this place.
