For several years I have purchased cheesecakes from the bakery for my youngest daughter’s birthday. She loves the taste of the Old Fashioned original cheesecake. The storefront is a no frills no nonsense setting. This is because the bakery is a commercial operation. They supply their tasty treats to numerous restaurants in the San Antonio and Austin area, but they make time to serve the private customer as well. Just understand that they are a commercial operation. But believe me when I say the tasty treats are worth the trip over into the business park where they are located.

Amazing bakery- their carrot cake is the best I've EVER had. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. Everything is delicious.

This is a wholesale operation that has been in operation for many many years. At this point it is a second generation business that supplies most of San Antonio's restaurants. They aren't cheap bit you get what you pay for, as in once you take your first bite your first thought is DAMN that's good.

You enter the building and immediately, the scent of warm, fresh, sugary sweets hits you. You immediately want to buy everything. Or at least that's how I felt! I went in and bought an Oreo cheesecake and a few cupcakes for my husband and I to try. Rebecca was so helpful and sweet when I called to ask questions. She let me know it's cash only so keep that in mind! The hours are what they are so plan accordingly as well. This was such a nice experience!

We have ordered from here twice and been delighted both times. Their cakes are so moist and the icing is deliciously sweet. We have also gotten cupcakes that are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the strawberry cake!

Fantastic every single time. I brave I35 traffic driving down from Austin every few months and pick up a few cheesecakes to keep in the freezer.

Mary Jane from this bakery did our wedding cake in 2004 and all of our children’s birthday cakes when they were little. We were so excited to have them make a cake for our daughter’s graduation party. She no longer does any fancy decor so we were very specific on the wording and colors. We paid $170 for 2 cakes and all of the colors were wrong. So disappointed. Also so I convenient that they aren’t open on Friday, Saturday, or Sundays and close at 2 on Thursdays. Where do you store these huge cakes when you have a weekend event? I should have just gone to HEB.

They make good quality baked goods. The brownies are amazing and the people are very nice and kind. Italian cake was good.

Love this place! Make sure u ask if they have cupcakes when u pick up your cakes...those are delicious and u can get assorted ? the dingdong cake is amazing!

The cheesecake was delicious although I was told 3 times how they make like (I don't remember the actual number thrown at me but this is close or under) 300 cheesecakes a day. Then why do I have to buy a frozen one if you are making that many fresh? Just an observation.

Best carrot cake (cupcake) I've ever had in my life. Absolutely phenomenal. Carrot cake is one of my favorites- nothing I've had so far compares to The Ultimate Cheesecake Bakery. Please don't ever change your recipe!
