Well it's been since the summer since I 1st went here, my work schedule was the reason. It is 2 days before X-Mas and a food for lunch was in order, I though mexican food,nope. Fried chicken sanwich, nope. Hum, maybe a sub sandwich from Jersey M(?) just to get me by, nope. I am gonna drive 5 miles for the Beast ((pretty much the most loaded sub sandwich I have ever had) 1/2 pounf of meat, fresh bread and different fixings added on. Well, it did not disappoint, I wanted to eat only half, but it wss so good i finished it off. Give this place a try, preey sure you will be mad I recommended this local shop. It' s just sib sandwiches some chips and limited types og drink choices. The pics should say it all. (P.S. park across the street in tha vacant lot if none available in front of shop)

I recently visited The Wicked Wich with my two best friends, and I have to say, this place absolutely blew us away! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness. The staff were super welcoming and even let me customize my own sandwich with hot honey (which was absolutely to die for).
The sandwiches here are hands-down the best I’ve had in San Antonio. Everything was super fresh & flavorful. Plus, their Instagram is fantastic they keep it updated with stories about their specials, and it made us even more excited to try them out.

Amazing service, 90s rock vibes all around and even better food! Stopped in for lunch with Wifey and devoured everything. The cheese and broccoli soup was fresh, hot, cheesy, and creamy. We shared the chicken bacon sandwich and the cezar that were both made to order and both gone before we left! We will be returning :) Thank yall!

So good! Hands down the best sandwich I've ever had. My husband and I pass by it everyday and decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. I had the Rodeo Clown it was delicious! Bread was warm and soft the peppers were perfectly spicy, high quality meat and cheese with fresh arugula. 🤌🏽 We will be coming back for sure!
The broccoli and cheese soup was absolutely amazing!! So was the sandwich! Next time we’re in San Antonio we will definitely be back!!

I came in during lunch, and it was a little busy, which I completely understand — the wait wasn’t a problem. I ordered a sandwich with no mayo or mustard, but when I got back to work, I realized it had mayo. I went back to have it corrected.
The owner checked my ticket, admitted the mistake and said it was her bad. She than proceeded to make a new sandwich, which I appreciated. However, while taking back my original bag, they also took the bag that had my already purchased and opened chips in it. I dropped them while getting out for a refund, so I grabbed another bag — not realizing it would cause confusion since my original bag of chips was in the same bag they took back. I tried to explain that but the owner seemed to ignore me instead of answering me.
When the new sandwich was ready, they wouldn’t hand it to me until I paid for the new bag of chips, I was pressed for time so If she had spoken to me about the chips being a big deal I would have just asked for My ordinal bag back so I could just grab my new sandwich and go. I stayed calm and waited for the cashier to ring up his current customers even though my lunch break was running out. At that point, I asked for a refund instead. The owner seemed frustrated and dismissive rather than apologetic,
the process was confusing — the cashier wasn’t sure how refunds worked, so called her over. She then asked for my number and told me she’d do it When I asked about how that would work since normally something like that would be handled in person she walked away and left the person at the register confused again. He asked a co worker who was kind and explained she will do it when it slows down.
I understand mistakes happen and it was busy, but a little empathy and communication would have gone a long way. I left disappointed, mainly because of the misunderstanding about the chips and the lack of courtesy, not just the sandwich issue.
