Thousand Oaks Cafe is roomy, clean, and serves very good Texas comfort food at amazingly low prices. Our group was there for breakfast and the average price per person was just over $10.

Absolutely love this place. Such a relaxed place to have breakfast or lunch. Staff has always been very welcoming and attentive. Been coming here for years, at least once a week with the “office clan” for lunch, and Bfast myself - post COVID, obviously that changed. But have been coming in for breakfast and lunch again lately. The food is really fantastic. It’s simple, flavorful food with a great staff. The prices are very fair! It’s really one of those go-to places.

Love the Small Plate with some “add-ons” for breakfast, and the fajita taco salad for lunch in the tortilla bowl…so good. It’s pretty cool to see the same staff all the time, and the same guests on Saturday mornings. It has a great neighborhood place feel.

If I could eat there every day I probably would 😊

Food here has gone downhill. We had breakfast here and both of our meals were cold. We will not eat here again. To expensive to be a non eatable meal. Not to mention the oatmeal was like water. No flavor at all.

I always appreciate it here as they always have room since the restaurant is so big, the food comes quick, and the people are friendly. This visit was no exception, excellent!

Pepe’s had too long of a line, so we swung by the Thousand Oaks Cafe drive-thru for breakfast tacos—and I’m glad we did.

I ordered a bacon and egg taco and a carnitas taco. All I can say is WOW.

The carnitas taco completely blew me away. I’ve had way too many dry, flavorless carnitas around the city—but this one was different. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. And they didn’t skimp on the portion either—at under $4, it was loaded with enough carnitas to fill two tacos.

The bacon and egg taco was solid too—fresh, tasty, and cooked just right.

We’ll definitely be back!
