I was genuinely surprised at how good this place is. Even price wise, it wasn't too bad. They made ordering very easy with A LOT of options. Plenty of staff to get you in and out. My only gripe is the parking lot is small and awkward to get in and out of (not that they can do anything about it).Parking: Very few spots. Hard to get in and out of the lot. It's on a difficult intersection of streets and is always busy.

I came here upon someone’s referral. They said it was so great that he’d Uber there and back. So I came in and can’t avoid the thought of how this place resembles a Subway sandwich shop. All the furniture, the way you order your food… everything. The only thing missing is the subway sign. Let me say that the service was good, the facilities clean and the food was good. And as much as I’m for sticking up for the small business owner, I must say Subway IS better and cheaper. Today I’m gonna leave a no so favorable review, but I’m doing it to make this business to be better. The location you have is enviable. I feel that this place is so average and imitating a franchise shows lack of imagination. You have the opportunity to create something special and the area deserves so.

We used coupons, & Thundercloud didn't restrict use to 1 coupon on order. Thanks! Friend started with a large favorite sub on wheat bread, & I had a large roast beef & Swiss. Mine was free with coupon! 2nd sandwich was a small different sub on wheat, & my free was a small turkey & provolone. She ordered a large drink & I ordered a small; free refills on both.Parking: A good amount of parking for a small strip center, but at 3 PM was mostly crowded.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp, but crowded parking made it difficult to access. Door was wide enough for rollator or wheelchair, but not automatic, had to open & hold for friend.

My daughter and I are gluten free and we don’t like Udi’s gluten free rolls because it falls apart all the time before your second bite. Thunderclouds GF bread was great from the very first bite to the very last bite. It held together with avocado, mayo, mustard and thundersauce. Atmosphere is great very friendly service. I use to get the Chicken Salad sandwich almost every week when I lived in Alamo Heights and it was amazing. If I remember correctly, they put oil, vinegar, and lettuce on it and it makes it taste insane. I now live in Spring Branch and hope to get by Thundercloud again soon. I really wish they’d open up a location out here, they’d kill it since all we have is Subway and Jimmy Johns.

I was literally raised at this thundercloud. All throughout elementary, middle, and highschool. I moved away for decade + and came back hoping it is still the best. IT IS. I was not disappointed. I love thundercloud. I am pregnant and all I want is thundercloud. Thank u to the thunder Gods for existing, but please send coupons to monte vista and Tobin hill near St. Mary’s street. I beg. I have to use my moms coupons ??(I am writing this review at 9 AM literally waiting for them to open today. All my belly wants is thundercloud) ?
