On Potranco rd. Ordered 4 tacos the Mexican lady Amy wanted to charge me for two extra littles cups of salsa after only giving me two in the bag for the 4 tacos. She actually wanted to argue about me asking for two extra salsa mini cups. I walked away while she wanted to incite argument. Terrible customer service.

My wife and I have been to Tias Taco hut before over on Babcock had great service. Today we tried Tias on Blanco by Churchchill High School on Blanco, I had order beef enchiladas the waitress brought me cheese enchiladas she even said who ordered the beef beef enchiladas, as I cutted into the enchiladas it was cheese , I had told the lady I order beef she no you order the cheese , the showed me the ticket what she wrote down , but I didn't want cause a seen but I told I said beef and my wife know I said beef. but the lady didn't offered to fix so I ate it anyways because the food is good, so I'll give a rating to this location a 7 for now.

This is hands down my absolute FAVORITE spot for authentic Mexican food! I don’t live in San Antonio, and I’m not from here, but trust me—I know good Mexican food when I taste it. And this place? Worth every mile of the 4-hour drive I make just to eat here once a month! The food is consistently amazing, the margaritas are perfection, and I’ve never had a single bad experience. I’m hooked!

Sooo just a heads up SA, if you order the bean n cheese tacos for $.79 and ask for no cheese they will charge you $1.99 even if you ask for the cheese on the side. According to the cashier the cooks can’t make any special changes to the taco???? Cmon! Do better Tia’s!!!?
I’m trying to figure out how it goes from $.79 to $1.99 just by taking out the cheese??

This morning, September 5th, 2024, the breakfast was unfortunately lackluster. I had the chorizo and egg and the bean and cheese, which were average, but what ended up bringing the breakfast down was the tripas and the bean tacos ordered by my mother. The tripas were soft and feeling like yesterday's over soaked tripe. The beans she ordered were far too soft and liquid for taco form, as they don't seem to know how to refry beans. And the coffee was very bitter.

For years, we loved coming to Tia’s but lately it has been horrible, slow and rude customer service. This is the second time I come through the drive-thru this month and I have to wait over 10 minutes for my food. I finally give up.

Lady at the driver-thru window always has a rude demeanor to her, misunderstands your orders and seems bothered when you have to correct it.

Today 8/25/24, we ordered two bacon and egg PLATES. She asked if we said plain or plates. We said plates. We get to the window and they try to give us two bacon and egg tacos. We clarified that it was supposed to be PLATES. She looked at us confused and grabbed a man from the back because I guess she didn’t understand what we were saying. We clarified we wanted two bacon and egg PLATES and he asked how we wanted the potatoes. While I understand they can make them different ways, I figure that us just ordering the plates, no modifications, suggested we just wanted regular potatoes. Instead it became a giant debacle about what exactly we wanted. It’s like this Every. Single. Time. We can never just drive up, order, and get our order. There is always some sort of disconnect with the staff. It shouldn’t be that hard to just order a bacon and egg plate. Regular potatoes. They then asked us to pull around to the front to wait on our food. We waited quite some time before the man came out with our food. We said thank you and he did not respond at all. Due to the poor service we will NOT be returning to this restaurant. It’s a shame because we do enjoy the food. It’s just such a headache every single time we give them a chance. Never. Again.

Yesterday was an eye opener for me. I ordered breakfast tacos and I had to return them. The bean and cheese tacos had ONE spoonful of beans and 3 visible pieces of shredded cheese. I returned to the restaurant and spoke to the lady at the counter. She advised that I purchased the bean and cheese tacos @ .79, therefore that's what comes in each taco. Had I purchased the $1.99 tacos, I would have received more beans and more cheese. Considering there is a sign on three sides of their building advertising seventy-nine cent bean/cheese tacos, how is the consumer to know that they offer additional tacos at one $1.99? Why would someone purchase them at $1.99 if you advertise them at seventy nine cents? The lady at the counter seemed annoyed when I asked for a refund. I explained to her that no matter the cost of the tacos, the quality and her attitude was enough reason for me to spend money elsewhere. Even after Tia's started charging a 4% service fee for using a credit card, I continued to eat here. It's the principle: Quality Food Service over profit.

Talk about disappointment!!! I have lived in San Antonio a long time and this is by far the worst Mexican food experience. First of all the drive through took 40 mins!!!!! What the hell. Then the steak fajita meat was tough as leather. There was no seasoning in site. It was a 40 min, 40 dollar disappointment. They can’t pay me to go back. And the lady said the drive through is always that slow on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They need to close shop.
