Tito's Mexican Restaurant Reviews
The atmosphere on Monday was okay, laid back, however, took 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. Chips and salsa, the salsa is Red Hot Picante sauce, very disappointing. Asked for the limes from the bartender and seemed like I was bothering him, no talk and not friendly.
Ordered the mini tacos and the meat was just warm, not hot. The beans were watered down. The shrimp chipotle had no taste.
Overall, out of five stars, I give it a one. Very disappointing.
The staff from when we walked in was so attentive and full of energy the the restaurant was really busy and and the server was so attentive their food was amazing my drink was so good. I will definitely be coming back. This was just the night me and hubby needed after a long and stressful week. ❤️😊
Love the Tito plates, I’m ready to try the monster burrito comes with sour cream and guacamole

Tito's Mexican Restaurant in the Historic King William area offers a wonderful traditional Tex Mex dinner with an amazing happy hour until 7. The local vibe, friendly staff, and delicious food menu with classic dishes and new spins, created by an amazing chef, make it a must-visit. Guests enjoy the mini tacos al carbon, which are flavorful with fresh corn tortillas, topped with chopped onions, cilantro, and limes. The charro beans served with the tacos are praised as some of the best around. The chips and salsa are also highlighted for their freshness and homemade taste, with a nice spicy kick. Many visitors also praise the queso con Chile, which is flavorful, although some find it a bit watery. The restaurant is known for having some of the best micheladas in San Antonio, especially appreciated for their lighter Clamato flavor, making them easier on the stomach. The laid-back atmosphere is a bonus, close to many downtown attractions. Guests have enjoyed their meals, noting that even takeout is delicious and ready quickly. However, some have experienced slow service and food that isn’t always hot, and parking can be challenging near downtown. Overall, guests express a desire to return to enjoy the tasty food and refreshing smokey mezcal cocktails.
