Maybe it was an off day but the waitress said menudo was fresh but it was old and disgusting… And the order of avocado they gave us had mostly black chunks… the steak a la Mexicana was more Like carne asada with tomato’s and the corner we sat in smelled like dirty diaper…. The waitress was nice though… Everyone was friendly but definitely not like the one on San Pedro…

I've been eating at Tommy's since 1994. Some years ago it got a new owner. The food was still good but not great like it was with previous owner. Now it's dingy looking inside, tables too close together, prices are way too high for a small dingy restaurant with a small parking lot.

While paying for my order, I noticed I was overcharged for food I didn’t order. Ashley the cashier tried to correct the issue by removing a side of avocado and bacon. I asked her to please redo my ticket and charge me for what I ordered and she gave me attitude saying it would be the same price. Very unprofessional, she clearly needs customer service training and has no business being in front of customers. I will never go back to this location.

The carne guisada tacos are no good. The meat is very drie and very chewy. The potato and eggs are drie.The lemonade although is very good. The line was not long at the time I went around 10am. Very expensive. Sorry I didnt post the pictures. I dont recommend at all.

Everyone here is rude. I walked in to pick up an uber order and the lady at the counter ignored me and was laughing with another girl. When she did finally acknowledge me she told me to go to the table and the girl at the table ignored me as well. I asked who do I speak to about an order and she was like I dont have uber thats why I ignored you. She could have at least acknowledged that I was waiting and another server hit me as she was walking past me. I used to work next door to the Tommy's on wurzbach pkwy and everyone there is very friendly and greets you, here everyone is rude and looks like they don't wanna be here. At least greet customers and tell them what's going on, ignore them just because.

My sister and I went and picked up tacos and she put a tip and they added a zero to the tip and charged her $10 tip. Please be careful with that Because my sister had no intentions of allowing them to give themselves a $10 tip for us picking up our tacos
Menudo was great this visit. Barbacoa and Big Red are also a favorite. Tacos are really good. From my reviews, I do tend to favor eating here if in the area. Sweet tea and coffee are usually on point as well 👌

I paid $23 for a pancake plate and 2 tacos (this included tip). I order this meal all the time and always receive beans and potatoes with this meal and only received eggs, bacon and pancakes. Way too expensive for what I was given.
