This was a good place to eat. I have been to a Tommy's before but a different location. All in all very good. I had the cheese enchilada lunch special that came with a tea. Good rice and beans. Chile con carne was not the best, but was still pretty good. Good authentic Tex-mex option.

I only come here for the breakfast tacos as it's close to my work. That said, the breakfast tacos are excellent! Tacos are full and loaded - they don't skimp - and the ingredients are quality and fresh. Large cup of red salsa is given also. Good service, reasonable wait time and price. Definitely recommend

Amazing! Everything we had was so good. Good portions sized. Our server was awesome! Everyone was very welcoming! The price was good too. And we didn't have to wait long for our food & it was a full house.

I can't talk up or recommend this place more. I order the food all the time many times it is just take out. My sister and I love this place and both our families do as well. My sister has her birthday in January and she is one of the people who doesn't like doing much for her birthday, but we have an agreement she gets to pick where I take her out at least once in the week of her birthday. When I asked her this time the Tommy's off Wurzbach Pkwy is less than a 5 min drive form her house so she picked Tommys for brunch. Of course me being her older brother knowing she likes her solitude, I invited all the primos (cousins) so we had a party of 9 for Tommy's. Let's talk about the service. I had called before and they did advise they would not be able to seat us until the whole party was there. We arrived and were only missing one person, Cousin Tony Jr., ALWAYS late; however, they sat us anyway and were the most gracious. My 7 year old is a talker and she was spoken to with the utmost respect as a little customer and made the wait staff laugh of course. We all ordered different plates and tacos, breakfast and lunch, and even some special orders and substitutions. We all got our food at the same time so no waiting for anyone or food getting cold. Our server was very attentive and never had an empty glass or cup. We even got the check and it was an easy process. The ambience is great. I went ahead and ordered the barbacoa and it is as savory as any place in San Antionio and the tortillas are very fluffy. All the food is extremely tasty and flavorful. I cannot recommend this place more. I know of some other locations that are not as pleasant as this one, but I recommend the drive it is worth it.

Always consistent in both food and services. We eat breakfast here about once every other week and have not been disappointed.

My favorite spot to take my parents to when they visit. The service and food are so good.

The tortillas are homemade and taste amazing! The green salsa is fantastic. Prefer that with the chips instead of the red salsa. The red salsa isn't bad, though. This was my first time here, and I was impressed.

Wow, we went here on a suggestions from plumbers working at our house. Let’s start with the chips and fresh salsa, delicious! My husband had the Mexican plate (enchiladas and a taco) and I had the puffy tacos. They were both delicious, savory meat, fresh veggies, yum! The service was great and the place was clean and had cute pictures on the walls. This restaurant will stay consistently in our rotation! Great recommendation.

If you haven't been to Tommy's - you have to go! The Barbacoa and Big Red is must have; by far the best San Antonio has to offer! Great restaurant, great staff, great ownership, and even better food! With several locations in town, there's no reason not to get Tommy's for your next meal!!!

I sat here for a while. If your not a group of people they pay no attention to you. A group of men walked in a while after me and were asked and served before I was. Chips were never brought to me but were brought to the men. I’m on a hour lunch break and just wasted my time and money.

My order was to go, but it looked like a very nice & busy restaurant! The menu has a variety of delicious food, but I’m a taco guy and got the carne guisada w/cheese. Highly recommendthis restaurant!

I was feeling under the weather and wanted some soup. The soup was great and a big portion! Was able to take some home and have it the next day when I was still under the weather. The servers were super helpful and gave me some foil to take the tortillas to-go. It gives a family vibe inside the restaurant, glad my Fiance brought me!

Chicken fajita nachos were ok. We also ordered chicken crispy tacos and they were not good. The chicken was dry and bland. Rice was blah. Refried beans were ok. I had eaten here once before and it was ok, but after this visit, I'll go elsewhere. The restaurant is open and clean. My kid thought the Tv was way too loud. Servers were friendly.
