Gabriel was fantastic at Toro. He went above and beyond to help us get in for Valentine’s Day and made our evening feel truly special. His service was warm and attentive. His recommendations were spot on!
We’ll definitely be back and hope to sit in his section again!

I went to Toro with my girlfriend because we wanted to try some Spanish food and it did not disappoint. We had the patatas bravas and the calamares fritos as tapas as well as the Toro Paella. Everything was delicious. Our server Diego was amazing. He gave us great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the food. The drinks were spot on as well. We'll come back for sure.

Food was great! We got the champinones lugo from the tapas menu, the paella marinera, and a bottle of white wine. The only unfortunate part of the experience was the service. I arrived 15 minutes before my date, and was not greeted until he arrived. Not even water was offered until he sat down with me. We decided to share a bottle of wine and we were asking questions about two specific bottles. After some time, he comes back and apologized that there are no more full bottles of the one we selected. We said, “that’s alright, we can do the other bottle”. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize until we got the tab that he gave us the wrong bottle which was the more expensive option he had recommended earlier (not one of the two we explicitly asked about). It wasn’t a big enough deal because we had already drank it but that on top of everything was disappointing.

This restaurant serves tapas mostly.... we had tapas bravas, bacon wrapped dates filled with cream cheese, sliders, and something called coquitas was tasted raw. The sliders were over cooked and dry. The shrimp and the strawberry lemonade was the only thing that I enjoyed. Maybe it was an off day or the main cooked was off. But I would pass.

3 of us got some appetizers and wine. Although somewhat limited, the menu was unique and fairly high quality with good presentation.

The Toro paella and the red sangria were very delicious. Highly recommend going on a flamenco night. The dancers and performers are awesome. Will come back again. Highly recommended.
