This True TX BBQ is dirty, slow, rude and overall a dump. Old equipment and dingy surroundings make a BBQ sandwich sound like a dream!! The manager Eduardo is a nightmare!!!

We ordered a whole chicken and a breast was missing. We went back to advise and “Macalynn” advised that it was there when clearly it was not. We ended up not eating there and got a refund. Never, will we come here again! Terrible service!

The Texas barbecue is always delicious. What makes it even better is the kindness of the employees.
One that stands out to me because he is kind of every customer through his and is always smiling and cheerful is Roland Alvarado.
Because of his kindness, I feel like I have found a friend in the barbecue . He always points out when certain products are available to me that I really like. I see him do it for others as well.
He was gone for a short period and I truly missed him. I spent less money, but I missed him!

The food has alway been great. My 1 star review is for the service. This evening I walked in and needed help with the self service kiosks. All the sandwiches on the screen said sold out. I asked the young lady if she can help me with my order. She told me she was busy to ask the guy that was working the flaming chicken. There were 3 people working the barbecue. She was just standing , it would’ve take her 2 minutes to help me. 2 people waiting for their order. She simply did not want to take my order. So I just left. Because of the kiosk machines employees feel that they should help customers with their orders.

I ordered a shredded chicken bowl with Spanish rice , it came bad at first . The Spanish rice was rock hard and impossible to chew through . I then went to the counter to just let them know . Then Jada offered to make me a fresh bowl on the spot no charge . She replaced the bad rice in the kitchen with fresh rice ! And let’s just say after the switch to fresh my night was made . Thank you Jada at the flaming bird
