Good food overshadowed by Roaches!!

We've eaten here a few times. But I recently went very early in the morning around 6:30 am just after they opened and saw several German Roaches on the booths and floor. Anyone who is familiar with German Roaches knows that they infest by the thousands, so there's no doubt they have an infestation. Unfortunately, I didn't notice them until I had already started eating but couldn't finish my breakfast taco because it made me lose my appetite. Ironically, Orkin was at Einstein Bagel 2 doors over performing a service. I wonder if that entire strip center is infested??!! It's really unfortunate because I really like their food but I don't think I can go back knowing they have an infestation.

Charged a price that was not reflected on posted menu. Asked server but question was ignored. Breakfast tacos not good. Soaked in butter or something. Will not come back.

Two small tacos (bean and cheese and Papa egg cheese) and a tea... $9.32. Oh and let's save the planet for dine in don't wrap them in foil.

Enjoyed the chilaquiles breakfast plate and coffee.

The lady at the front was extremely rude for zero reason. Absolutely horrible!

Best tortillas, great enchiladas, awesome breakfast tacos. The best staff. Only open til 3pm most days, wish the hours would extend but that is part of what makes Uncle Joes unique: quality food for limited time! Love this place! Highly recommended!

The salsa man....I always came for their salsa and chips...THEY CHANGED IT!🤢

I usually buy my breakfast tacos from the Westside of San antonio, but I decided to give Uncle Joe's a try. The chorizo & egg and bean & cheese were delicious.

It was packed so of course our to-go order took a minute but it was FRESHHH, so hot and tasty. The horchata and salsa asmothised me since I haven't had anything good as them lately. Chowed down my 2 tacos in less than 5 minutes. Only wished the breakfast tacos had a little more egg

Been coming here since it opened. Foods always great and service is good. Not ideal place for healthy eating but not sure many taquerias are. Located in Alamo Ranch our choices are limited if we don't want to travel far. Luckily this place is close by and worth it.

This restaurant always has amazing Mexican food! Fresh tortillas, good barbacoa, and always hits the spot when you need a hearty meal.

I’ve gone a few times from breakfast to lunch and it truly tastes delish and homemade and prices very reasonable! I’m glad I found them 😊

Service is great. Love that they have a drive through. Very affordable and welcoming place! Their food is authentic my daughter loves uncle joes! As a Latina, this deserves all the stars!!⭐️

They also have a holiday special for $21 with rice, salsa, tamales, gravy! You can’t beat it! I called today and picked up today!
