This place was so tasty and trendy! This was a nice spot that made ordering easy and received my food rather quickly. The food was fresh and hit different palate notes salty, spicy, savory, crispy and crunchy! Putting that egg on the dish was decedent just topped it off for me! I was glad to have had that dish. Parking was easy.

Yuck, yuck, yuck ? My first and last time here. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken taco and the curry queso. The Buffalo chicken taco was horrid. A nasty sour, tangy and just ratchet sauce that ruined the chicken. The flour tortilla was cold and meh and everything else on it was just not good. I ate one bite, washed it down with a ton of water and in the trash it went. The curry queso was so salty that it also made me cringe. I had a few bites and the only thing that was good about it were the blue tortilla chips. I essentially threw the rest of the quest and kept the chips (which also had too much salt on them so I had to wipe them down foe them to be edible). Over $12 for two items just for them to end up in the trash. Never, ever coming back.

After hearing all the hype finally went to eat at Velvet Taco. Order some chicken and beef tacos. Overall I found them flavorable and obviously very different from any other Taco you get in South Texas. What we found best was the white cheese nachos..that was really good combo with the blue chips!!!Atmosphere was great. We engaged in a wonderful conversation with two gentleman sitting outside and was a wonderful time.Good Food, drinks, and laughter make for a good way to spend some time out in the cool Texas weather.Definitely worth the stop!

Tacos were some of the best I've ever eaten!! Guacamole was so delicious! I got the grilled salmon tack and the sweet chili shrimp taco. Amazing!!

You’d think that messing w a perfectly good taco would end horribly. You’d be wrong. Try it once and you’ll be hooked. So many good flavor combos to choose from and even a taco of the week where they get even more creative and delicious. It can be a bit of a wait when it’s busy because they’re curating each and every beautiful taco to perfection.

While waiting for my to go order today I noticed the manager refused to acknowledge me. I caught his glance several times but he put on his gloves proceeded to look towards the back wall. It’s easy enough to tell the difference between someone that’s busy and someone that’s ignoring you. He was doing the latter. Eventually the LINE COOK walked up to help me. The line cook is honestly manager material, I can’t say the same for the actual manager who was on duty.

I went to get some tacos last night on Friday when it was really busy. I got my tacos to go and didn't check my order until I got home and realized they had gotten it wrong. I went back today and brought them the receipt and they were super helpful and filled my order properly and are very understanding about it. I appreciate the customer service.
