I had their barbacoa firt time this morning because my grandson won't eat barbacoa from anywhere else. I thought it was very good and will definitely be back.
Got the barbacoa. Barbacoa is a bit on the dry side. Corn tortillas too thick. Small amount of salsa. Everything sold separate. Got to step their game up to compete with the rest. Majority of other barbacoa places have combo deals. Will not return anytime soon.
Barbacoa was top notch. Didn’t try anything else. Very nice cook, showed me the difference and let me taste the barbacoa.

Tamales were undercooked and soggy. I tried to save them but even steaming them for an hour did not help. Barbacoa was off today as well. Not sure what was going on but in the past this place was pretty good.

I did read the reviews first to see if it's worth betraying my normal barbacoa place and decided to jump right in with the good flow of reviews. This is not what I expected, $18 for all meat that it is not even close to all meat. The barbacoa is in big chunks and has a lot of veins and fat. The carnitas is ok. The tortillas are stuck to one another and the tamales are horrible, falling apart and it's wrapped in plastic like if it's warmed up in plastic. Did I mention I spent $80. Smh. Guess what? For the first time there is actually barbacoa left over ?. Try it for yourself if you don't believe me.

Very good barbacoa, I wish they had a place closer to where I live but the place isn’t out of the way. Also very friendly staff.
Big red and Barbacoa. Vicky's does it right. Flavor is on point.
