This is one of my favorite places to eat. It is hard to find healthy, quality vegan food. Everything on the menu is so delicious and made from scratch. You can’t beat the pricing anywhere for the quality you get. Even my non vegan friends love the food. They are also always so friendly and hospitable too. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing vegan options! The food is so fresh and flavorful. We tried the buffalo cauliflower wings, nachos and enchiladas. They all were delicious. The staff is super friendly.

You’ve gotta try this place. We were here the day before the eclipse so it was incredibly crowded and the staff was overworked but still they were so nice and patient and somehow managed to make such amazing food. Seriously best nachos any of us have eaten in our whole lives. And during one of their busiest days at this restaurant- so impressive. Thank you to the staff for your patience during the eclipse week- my mom has celiac so we really appreciate having a dedicated gluten free restaurant that is also fully vegan

Good Vegan Mexican food. Staff is nice, and they stay busy. I noticed many people visit this restaurant. We were not so impressed as to want to come back soon. Service is just ok. They don't seem to have enough staff to wait on tables.Parking: Parking is behind the restaurant. It is small.

My significant other and I LOVED Viva Vegeria, it was hands-down the BEST Tex-Mex/Mexican food we've had! We ordered the Tortilla soup, Pozole, the sensational Mole Enchiladas and the mouth-watering Enchiladas de Calabacita. All of which were delicious and made to perfection! We can't wait to go back and wished we lived in San Antonio so we could be regulars! Our huge compliments to the Chefs ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan

Our favorite restaurant in San Antonio! It was so good that we came back for more during our three day stay! The vegan dishes are freshly made - they are tasty and innovative. There are a few "fake meat" options but the majority is made from vegetables and beans. The salads are extremely good, chips are crispy and fresh, and we enjoyed the entrees, including enchiladas and flautas. This was also a chance for us to try mole (sauce) for the first time. Service is friendly. What a welcome relief from the standard veggie fare that we find in most Tex Mex restaurants!

Fantastic food and really cute atmosphere inside. Our group of four adults got the classic nachos for the table and a plate each. There was so much food and it was all amazing! Wish I lived in the area just so I could go here all the time! Very nice people as well, they were fast and helpful.

So friendly, extremely accommodating, and great reasonable prices for quality vegan. I am a MEAT eater and I prefer to come here because of the indoor/outdoor dining options, accommodations to BYOB and generally great tasting, thoughtful flavor combinations. Hearty and filling, I recommend the nachos. Insanely good classic nachos. Sorry for the mess we were having too good of a time to care. Pictured: full size classic

Truly enjoyable HOMEMADE “Tex Mex” (although the authorities in my life say it’s authentic toward the Mex side). DELICIOUS. Hugo was excellent & attentive, the paintings indoors are lovely, and the remaining staff were very friendly. We tried multiple things but the Vegan Nachos’ photo came out best.Vegetarian options: Also veganDietary restrictions: Excellent! No nut concerns (lots of other vegan options have cashew). Phenomenal VEGAN menu - very hard to find here.

This is the place I look forward to going to every time I visit home. Food absolutely mouthwatering and delicious. Ambience impeccable with the painted walls, super kind staff, and uplifting music. This is the most perfect place in the world, gives me extra joy to eat vegan. Get the classic nachos and tacos al carbon, their delicious frescas, and I HIGHLY recommend the pozole. Get anything, it all tastes out of this world amazing!

Yesterday, the guy who rented us bikes (we did the mission trail, highly recommended!) suggested viva vegeria as an option for vegan Tex mex. It looked good, but it was closed on Tuesday, so we opted for something else. Today, we were touring around and had an all day bus pass so we thought "why not?" We waited a fair amount for a bus to get us down that way (it's more than 2 miles from the Alamo) ... and then got off in what looked like the middle of nowhere. The restaurant is right across the street, but at first glance it looked like it was closed. Until we noticed the entrance was off to the side. It's in a building that was maybe a house or an office and has some tables in two rooms. Our waitress was very nice and answered any questions. The food is made to order so it is was a bit of a wait for it to come out. The food looked great, and it was good, though maybe not quite great. Felt authentic. All vegan. Very satisfying. And it wasn't terribly expensive. But then came the bus ride back. It took 30 minutes for the next bus to show up. So we waited a while. And then the 20 minute ride. Did we enjoy the meal? Yes Was it worth the trip? No Did we spend waaaay too much time on the bus? Absolutely. Sadly, this was our last night in San Antonio. And we have regrets about not going down to riverwalk instead, and enjoying the atmosphere of the area. This was just too far to go for a meal - even if we did enjoy it.

This is an amazing vegan Tex-Mex spot! Chicken flautas are my favorite, I order them a la carte as an appetizer. You have try the nachos and enchiladas as well! Great staff and pet friendly with outside patio!
