We got a calzone and the spaghetti. The food was delicious, and the service was on point. Our server was very tentative and polite. She even laughed at my dad joke.I recommend this place 100%.

Best Gluten free pizza I have ever had!My fiancée got to enjoy some of the pasta and it was DELICIOUS. The live music was awesome, closest thing to actual Italian atmosphere I have ever experienced. 10/10 will be coming back next time I’m in San Antonio.

First, parking for this place is a little squirrely if it is busy bc of the location but i went at lunch time early and I found parking with no issue around the backside of the building. Inside, you walk in and it smells like Italian food immediately! Yummy that smell of garlic! Very simple and cozy interior. Booths and tables and chairs. it is not a large place but intimate and on the side of dark. For food, they start you with some bread and butter. Albeit, it is GARLIC butter, but in the end I just couldn't adjust to the taste of it because my tastebuds wanted a hot toasted bread for the garlic butter. It wasn't bad - bc it was indeed fresh - but my senses were having a hard time adjusting to cold garlic butter on cold bread. We ordered the Italian Honey Fries to start. The pic on the website leads you to believe these are crispy fries to start with then add the honey and the bacon. Our fries were soft fries with honey and bacon. Soft in terms of they were bendable like - I bent it in half and it did not break LOL. I wasn't a fan (thus the 4 star for food) and I just didn't get the delicacy that this was suppose to be. For me - again, this is a ME thing - getting my hands all sticky with honey on a limp frie - just wasn't so tasty. They were OK. I had the lasagna which was oh so wonderful! It was piping hot and very tasty. Perfect amount of noodle to meat to sauce ratio! My friend had the lunch special spag and meatballs (2 big ones!) which she loved and the Italian Wedding soup which she also loved. The service was impeccable and attentive. Would I come here again? Yes, I would!

Small local Italian restaurant that is apparently known for their pizza. We could smell the pizza oven when we entered and it smelled good. Like baked bread. We had a large party of 5 so we had to wait a bit for a table, no problem. Service was severely lacking, looked like just the waitress and host were running the restaurant. I never saw anyone that appeared to be a manager. Food took a long time and our waitress would frequently disappear. I could also see her all over the place, behind the bar, getting bread etc. I don't know if they never have a bartender or they called out but I could see every waitress getting their own beer and wine behind the bar. Not their fault but sign of poor management. Food was good thankfully but again everything took forever. We asked for our ticket and my friend that didn't have a glass of wine but was charged for a glass. I had brought a glass that was paid for at the bar. She never asked if I had paid for my wine but put it on the bill. She did remove it but it shouldn't have been there to begin with. Overall if you want to try this place I recommend doing a Togo order.
