Crab cakes were delicious! Bummer that they're closing down ?
My wife and I went there on a Sunday and got some drinks and food. Overall, it all felt overpriced. Their food was limited, even more so since half the menu was crossed out even though we went at 2 in the afternoon. The sliders were decent but small for how much you paid for them, $14 for two. When I got their jerk chicken street tacos it was a mountain of salsa and grilled chicken on top of the little tortilla disc's the size of a pickle lid. We attempted to pick them up by hand to eat them and the tortillas were soggy and falling apart, eventually just giving up and using a fork to eat them. The beer I got was unique and did taste good, which is why I would rate them as high as I did. Overall the experience was just okay and not really what I expected from a place as highly rated as they were. Perhaps it was just an off day for them, but I'm not sure I would recommend them or return as a repeat customer.
A heads up to dog owners, despite seeing pics of dogs inside, we were told they're not allowed, only on the patio.
Beers were pretty good, and they have an eclectic food menu on the weekends.
Incredible brewhouse! Must go!
So far I tried the barleywine-English which is very smooth for a 15% ABV
Me and hubby went on a day date here and it was a good time! We had a total of 6 different beers and we liked them all! Their food was good also! If you get the sliders dip the chips in the aoli ?. We noticed that it is family friendly during the day FYI. Love this place.
A new favorite for tasty craft beers! We came on a super hot day and were appreciative of the cool A/C and friendly service. I had their 'it takes 2 to Mango' Sour and it was delicious! Our server was super friendly and helpful in making recommendations. We are already planning on returning.
They have made their name doing stouts, specially the "Black is Beautiful" that every brewery did for the Black Life's Matter movement. When I visited they had several other styles on tap that missed the mark with either wrong grains or yeast. Their IPA was nothing but bitter and no hops flavor or aroma. Their darker beers (porter and stout) were by far the best of the lot. I had some food too, and it took a while to get to us. It's always ok, but nothing special. I doubt I'd be back for anything but their darker beers.
Enjoyed the beer and atmosphere and close to Santikos Embassy
Stopped by for a few beers and a bite on a Friday evening. It wasn't crowded, so there was plenty of open seating. You self order at the bar and they call you up when your order is ready.
For the drinks, there's about 15 different beers on tap. The taps do rotate, but there's always a good range of light, dark, IPA, malty, and others. You'll find something regardless of your preference. They do offer flights which is basically the 5oz pours you can get of any beer.
Ordered a bunch of different 5oz pours to try everything. Also, ordered a few sliders, salad, and brussel sprouts. Sampled the beers until the food was ready after about 10 minutes. Beers were delicious whether it was light, dark, or the sour one I tried. Food went well with the drinks.
Atmosphere was very light, not loud, and easy to have a conversation. Nice little outside patio that was dog friendly. I'd come back again when wanting to try some new beers in a casual environment.

O-fest 5.6 abv good, good malt up front and back (but that's all I'm getting, a festbier/marzen should have more) 16oz ; (WC) IPA 7.0ABV excellent, great hop nose and on the finish without too much bitter (this is light years better than the O-fest, wth?) 16oz ;- dedicated parking , 2 TV's , good WiFi , outdoor seating , easy to see from the street , 'art' for sale , 14 beery type things on draft today (with 7 being high abv adjunct malt beverages) no Pils/ Pale/ Brown/ std Stout today , (the saison and porter abv too high for the style) , serving sizes and prices are clearly listed ,
Very nice brewery! Cool beertenders.MALTerial Girl is a great brew, although it's got a nice hoppy finish.Picture is the Weathered Souls West Coast IPA.
Great beer, great service, great food... loved the experience. Steve helped us and gave us a quick tour of the back and process for brewing. Made the whole experience well worth recommending. Thank you Steve for your hospitality!
Excellent place to come. Great music on 1st and 3rd Fridays! Phil is a great entertainer and we come to listen and enjoy the food and beer.
