We were a group of 12 with a bunch of kids, Corey guided us in ordering, helped us get tables together, he was very friendly and gracious. The restaurant was clean, bathrooms clean and nice. The food was great, Corey took away finished plates and the boba teas were great!

We were excited to try this place but ended up disappointed. The girls up front were sweet but the food was just not it. The Taiwanese Beef Noodles soup tasted like it went bad or something, it tasted bitter and also had a strong cinnamon- like flavor. I have had plenty of authentic Taiwanese food but this just seemed like someone attempted to make Taiwanese. The beef must’ve been over pressurized in a pressure cooker because it was nearly emulsified. The noodles were overcooked, mushy and clumped together. Was this reheated or something? Idk but definitely didn’t taste fresh. The vegetables that were in it looked like they had been sitting for a while. They were supposed to be green but more of a brown color. Only the bok choy was green but again I think over pressurized…I had a few bites but ended up leaving the whole bowl there. Money wasted.

TLDR; only thing worth going for is the popcorn chicken and bobaFood was honestly disappointing and not worth the cost. As a Taiwanese American, this place is better than other Taiwanese options in this city, but it’s still a far cry from proper Taiwanese food. The only thing I’d happily recommend is the boba and the popcorn chicken.Portion sizes for the beef noodle soup were laughable. There was exactly one chunk of meat, one leaf of bok choy, and a tiny teaspoon of pickled veggies. The noodles had a weirdly gummy texture, and the broth wasn’t right either. I wouldn’t eat it for $5, much less $15.I’m not sure if the girl who took my order heard me wrong or if the recipe was completely wrong, but I tried to order the Rou Lou Fan, which I’m pretty sure was actually supposed to be Lu Rou Fan but still failed. Portions were better than the beef noodle soup, and the rice was excellently cooked, but the meat wasn’t really all that good and the braised soy sauce egg that came with it hadn’t been braised for nearly long enough, practically no flavor.

I have been a fan since Wei-Chow opened and I am a regular customer. I’ve never been disappointed with my favorite dishes as they are always freshly made. The staff is friendly and the dinning room and bathrooms are clean. My new favorite slushy pictured below with strawberry bursting boba. I can’t forget to mentioned the empanadas next door at Eda’s are to die for!!!!

Great food, a bit of a tradition/modern Taiwanese mix. Quality ingredients. Chili oil taste home made. Good portion sizes. Clean modern atmosphere.

Food is very good. Primarily Tiawanese. Lots of options. The servers were wonderful and cheerful. We ran past it and decided to stop in. The restaurant is nice with plenty of seating. It was a little too loud however when people were talking. Possibly the tall ceilings and hard floors. Maybe some sound absorbing panels would help. They also have an emapanda store that sells South American style sweet and savory empanadas that are baked. They do offer fried if notified ahead of time. Those were very good as well. We will definitely return. Check them out. They are right outside of Camino Bandera close to OP Schnabel.

The Taiwanese Beef Noodle soup was awesome! It totally transported me back to my childhood, spending summers with the family and eating it everyday. Also, they had the apple soda I've been telling my family about for years. And it's as amazing as I remember. The popcorn chicken and dumplings seemed a bit dry, but I got takeout and the drive might not have been kind to them. I'll definitely be going back, though.

The food is awesome! Best fried rice in town. Other standout dishes are the chicken katsu and spicy wonton. The atmosphere is nice, new and super clean. We're looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes.

My son and I really liked the chicken lomein but I got him the kids popcorn chicken and they were terrrrible. Completely inedible lumps of super hard over fried chicken. My son completely refused to eat them, I tried them and I didn’t want to eat those dried out pieces of chicken bark either. My wife got one of the pork soups and didn’t like it. She said it was well made, just not for her. Like I said the lomein is good though. I also got the strawberry smoothie at 100% sweetness, super sweet and bright flavor. Both artificial and natural strawberry. Atmosphere is similar to a fast food place.

I have ordered there about 3 times. Amazing food quality and freshness. Super nice staff. Boba is made in-house and tastes way better than other popular places. My kids always beg me to go there on weekends! I'm so lucky this place is close to our home!!!

Service seemed new but has potential. Food was flavorful but chicken and noodles were just slightly over cooked. Item indicated as spicy had no spice at all.
