I live one minute away from the restaurant and as soon as we open our food our burgers are cold as if they've been sitting on a cold counter and our fries are soggy and cold when you order food from Whataburger and you're waiting longer than 5 minutes I'm going to expect everything to be fresh when I get home because I don't live too far from there my food should be warm but yet still hot none of this has occurred me and my family are highly disappointed we expected the food satisfactory to be on the upscale but because they lack training and the company employees lack to want to do it right they just don't care they don't care that they serve cold food and it's not just Whataburger it's the majority of the restaurants y'all need to fix it

It was a very large group, so it took some time to get our food. But it was delicious and such a large menu, I couldn't decide. But I will go back to try something else

Placed my order at 2:08pm. By 2:32pm I went to the counter to see what was going on and they had completely forgot about our order, even though we were one of the few tables sitting in... Very little apology and no compensation. Food was a bit cold.

Stopped in San Antonio location on our way from Viera, Florida to El Paso, TX. We decided on the pico de gallo burger. We asked for mayo, pickles, and onions as add-ons...no complaints from the person taking our order. We got one as a meal and one solo. We paid $2 extra for a reusable Whataburger cup to support the Texas flood relief efforts. The burgers were ginormous, delicious, and fixed just the way we asked. Fries were only lukewarm, but we ate them anyway and didn't complain even though we ate in the parking lot. Love the spicy ketchup.

We are on vacation from a different state. We stopped here since we have a few friends from Texas who always talk about Whataburger.
Unfortunately, I felt it was gross. Our fries were cold , no salt or seasoning for the fries. My burger was burnt… this is not toasted but burnt… but maybe toasted is different in other states… Also I can’t judge on atmosphere since we went through the drive-thru, overall my first experience was meh.
We probably won’t try again honestly.

I went to Whataburger with pretty high expectations after hearing so many people rave about it. I was really looking forward to finally trying it and seeing what all the hype was about. Unfortunately, my experience fell short.
The biggest disappointment was the food itself. I expected my meal to be fresh and hot, but it just wasn’t. The burger felt like it had been sitting for a while — it wasn’t cold, but definitely not as hot and fresh as I hoped for. The flavor was okay, but nothing special or memorable. Honestly, I was expecting something that would stand out, but it tasted pretty average to me.
Surprisingly, the best part of the meal were the French fries. They were crisp, well-seasoned, and actually fresh. If anything made the visit worth it, it was the fries.
Overall, I wouldn’t say Whataburger is terrible, but it definitely didn’t live up to the hype for me. Maybe I just caught it on an off day, but I left feeling disappointed.
