Great and unique spot for pinball. Machines well maintained. Coffee bar was awesome and so was the staff.

Best freshly roasted beans in San Antonio. It's not the quiet coffee shop because of the pinball machines, but it still has the right vibe to relax.

Amazing place to play pinball, and to get a coffee. One of the best publicly available pinball collections in the COUNTRY! Around 50 pins, all well maintained, from the newest releases to older fun electromechanical classics. Games are on coin drop, so you can play just one game, or 20-30 if you’re like me. :)

This is my favorite coffee shop in all of San Antonio, the coffee is smooth and the people are friendly. It's a nice little break for the crazy of the city. Plus, there is no other place I'd rather go to for pinball.

I got the special of the month. Chocolate matcha which was delicious! It's a large location and they have pin ball too! Definitely worth checking out and I may visit as a regular.

Absolutely delicious coffee. I had decaf and it was still good - that’s RARE. my kids had a GREAT time playing pinball while my wife and I enjoyed our coffee. We are looking forward to coming back. Also, it’s a safe environment for kids - I felt comfortable with letting them walk around there.

This is San Antonio’s ultimate coffee haven, blending exceptional brews with an epic pinball arcade. As the city’s oldest roaster since 1979, they serve over 30 single-origin beans and blends, roasted in-house. My nitro cold brew was smooth and flavorful, while the cappuccino’s latte art and velvety texture were perfection. The staff are coffee wizards, guiding you through options like Hario V60 or Turkish-style with a smile, and the fresh beans for sale are a steal. The vibrant, industrial-chic space, complete with roastery views, creates an inviting vibe for everyone from coffee nerds to families.

The real kicker? Nearly 40 pinball machines, from retro Atlantis to modern Godzilla Premium, making it one of Texas’ largest collections. At $0.25–$1 per game, the well-maintained machines are a blast —my kids loved Stranger Things, while I battled it out on Dungeon & Dragons, Cactus Canyon and Jaws. With pinball leagues, fresh pastries, and a family-friendly atmosphere with board games, What's Brewing is a San Antonio gem that nails coffee, fun, and community. You’ll leave buzzing and eager to return!
