We made reservation because we saw the social hour of $7 from 4pm to 10pm on open table. But when we get there, we were told social hour only until 6pm. So why on open table it's until 10pm? We didn't to order since we were already there. But when the server came, we shared to him why we did the reservation. And he just said, no social hour is only until 6pm and then he just walked out and didn't come back again. So we left. I worked as a server, I have never been that rude to any guests. So disappointing.

Wife's margarita and my Old Fashion was excellent. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Spinach and artichoke dip best we've ever had. My pork chop for dinner was great and I would have it again. Wife enjoyed her shrimp and pasta dish, has some spice to it. Whiskey Cake dessert was decadent. Just an overall wonderful experience and we will be back.

Jeremy was a really nice server! The deviled eggs were amazing! I had a really good dinner with my family.

Popped in for dessert after eating next door. Really was excited to try the Whiskey Cake that the restaurant is named after. After waiting 30-40 minutes for 1 piece of cake we spied our server sitting on a couch with another server rolling flatware. We were obviously forgotten about. We walked out.

Our entire party felt that everything was AMAZING! The waiter, Carmello, was the perfect blend of excellent customer service, efficiency, and friendliness. The restaurant's aesthetic and ambience was warm and inviting. I am in San Antonio for a conference and am seriously considering another visit before I leave to go home to the east coast. The food and drinks were PERFECT! Temperature, portions, and flavors were simple and savory. I would recommend without reservation!

We enjoyed our meal at Whiskey Cake. The food was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday so we splurged and got the Whiskey Cake. It was fabulous! Best dessert I've ever had. Our server was fun and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Came for brunch on Sunday reservation at 12:45. Restaurant is beautiful with nice vibe but food took nearly an hour and once arrived, pancakes were cold and crab Benedict was a small patty with more filler than crab though egg was beautifully poached. Definitely not worth the 1 hour wait. Waitstaff Shelby was excellent.

Overall a great experience, I had the Flat Iron Steak so yummy. Their Selection of Bourbon IS OUTSTANDING!!! Then there is the KING of DESERTS, the Whiskey Cake is amazing could easily be a meal unto itself, paired with a good bourbon of course.

Food was pretty good. Servers are very busy covering multiple sections. Our server was very attentive but it feels less personable when your server is stressed out most likely due to managements poor scheduling or staffing. I am grateful that our server gave excellent service despite being very busy covering basically the entire seating area. It was also my partners birthday but no one really seemed to care so the dinner was not made to feel special. I recommend going elsewhere if you would like to have a special meal to celebrate any important dates.

It was our 20th anniversary. The staff left us a letter congratulating us. They also sent us a whiskey cake which was delicious. Overall a great experience. Excellent food, amazing service, Thank You whiskey, Cake.

Making a reservation on Open Table definitely made a difference in being seated shortly after we arrived.

Our server Amanda was so nice, efficient and courteous! The food here is pretty good. The toffee pudding is a must when visiting this place. It's quite a generous portion so it's great to share.

We ordered the peach French Toast and it was burnt to a crisp so we sent it back. Then we were told that they ran out so we were offered pancakes with peach topping. By the time it was received we are almost finished with our meal. I ordered the rotisserie farm bird and it was undercooked so I sent it back. The manager didn't have the decency to talk to me about the undercooked chicken. The waitress was very nice but I'm not impressed with the management or the quality of the over priced food.
