Ate here with my significant other and we got the Texas roll, the fried chicken ramen, and the springs rolls, the spring rolls and sushi were 10/10, ramen I wish had more spice but we prolly could’ve asked for that, everything was super delicious, affordable and the restaurant was super cute and clean. Nothing I could say negative!

The ramen was good, but the price was excellent. Kimura is my absolute favorite ramen joint in San Antonio, but Yippon was fast, easier on the budget, and the service was on point. Everyone was super nice. I had the spicy miso ramen. It had a decent heat on the back of the throat and plenty of flavor. The tonkatsu had a nice, rich broth. The karage ramen had lots of chicken, but I'm not a fan of how the crispy breading became soggy in the broth. The calamari was so much better than the standard fried calamari at most restaurants. The godzilla roll looked really good but my daughter wouldn't share. So, we'll be back to try some other items. I'm so glad these folks opened up in our neighborhood.
They have a small but decent selection of beer, sake, and soju. Place was clean, atmosphere relaxed.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options for each category of food (apps, ramen, noodles, etc).
Kid-friendliness: Reasonably priced kids menu with katsu options instead of standard American fare.
Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor, easy access from parking with adjacent handicapped spaces.

I came here to eat ramen, it was delicious. Next, I tried the yakisoba, and wouldn't you know it was great. Then I went and gave myself another option and tried the sushi and dang it it's the best I've had in years. Honestly, you can't go wrong with whatever you order, it seems.

Imagine picking up food here via delivery & these folks are very rude and treat you like you stealing from them. Very discriminating atmosphere. If I marked the order confirmed for pickup why are you still holding food I’m responsible for ? Not professional and I will talk to my lawyer about the service I experienced

the area kinda busy in the plaza by HEB , but as soon as i walk in, the atmosphere is so impressive, simple but also Japanese modern vibe, our waitress was super nice, she has glasses and her English was pretty politely 10/10, when the food came out i tried the ramen Tonkotsu, this type of noodles they made here is so different, clear shiny yellow, and perfectly sort-chewy 10/10 the broth are NOT from MSG, perfectly 10/10, eels sushi was 10/10, we also have combinations Yakisoba ( fried noodles ) and Sashimi 8 pcs was 9.5/10 probably because i was so full lol ? and the banana tempura was super good but had to pack to go ? must tryyyy this place ?

We Door Dashed our meal and it was good; the chicken in the yakisoba was flavorful and tender, the tempura shrimp was perfectly crispy, and the ramen was geniusly separated by a double bowl system so the noodles were pristine when they arrived. We were all very satisfied with the taste, texture, & flavor of our meals!

Yippon Ramen in San Antonio is a solid spot for good ramen. The food was tasty, and the service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean, making for a comfortable dining experience. It was also pretty affordable. I’d recommend it and will definitely be back.
