I love this place. Food is authentic and the atmosphere feels like I'm in Japan. Super yummy and no ramen around really compares to this. It's like it's own thing.

Best and most consistent ramen in town. Lots of great options on their menu, including cold ramen. Looking forward to trying in the summer.

We've been to Yokai 4 times now, and everything we have tried is delicious! The atmosphere, flavors and dining style remind me of my time in Japan. I highly recommend the spicy edamame and yakisoba!

Really enjoyed the Tonkotsu ramen here. Nice broth, good chew to the noodles and the pork was cooked just right. The takoyaki was also amongst the best I've had. It all came out very fast too. Will be back to try more soon!
Best tonkatsu ramen in San Antonio. I've searched far and wide throughout the U.S. for a quality representation to what you can find in Japan. And this is it. It's a modest establishment not quite hidden away in the NE of SATX but it's well worth the drive IMO.

I really enjoyed eating here. The ramen was really good. The broth was very flavorful, more than just the tonkatsu flavor the broth had base to it. It was really good, definitely sets itself apart from other ramen spots. The ingredients used were also very delicious, I could tell the freshness and all together the chef did a really good job. The place itself is really cute, fun in fact. The decor is animated and the seating arrangement fits the cute shop very well. Last but not least the service and staff were very friendly and respectful. I'll definitely be coming back.

This is the only Ramen I've had since leaving Japan that made me feel like I was back there. Highly recommend the miso ramen (i added pork) and the karage chicken appetizer. My partner loves their tea as well.

Best ramen I've had in San Antonio so far. Broth was delicious, noodles were great and pork belly was so tender it melted like butter. So good!Space is small, so it's hard to accommodate a lage party. But for 4 people it's great.Service was fast too. Definitely going back.
We ate this for our dinner on valentine's, we decided this place because it had good ratings and reviews. I got a shrimp soup with different thicker noodle and my fiance got a chicken ramen. His tasted ok, he didn't like the chicken and the broth wasn't good in taste. Mine tasted good but the shrimp came separately and fried in a thick batter, I couldn't even taste the shrimp. The next day, him and I are both feeling nauseous and I haven't been able to eat from the nauseous feeling. Tummy aches and gas. We're not going here again.

The broth was clear and rich. The takoyaki octopus balls were crispy on the outside and soft and full of flavors inside.
