I have lived down the street from Yolanda’s for 4 years admiring the perky pastel outside. But until a friend visited and we were walking and planned to go get some breakfast. As we reached the end of Ashby I saw Yolanda’s and decided to try it. So glad we did. I had huervo rancher with homemade corn tortilla’s. So yummy. I also had breakfast tacos another time with homemade flour tortillas. Stuffed full of egg and whatever else we chose. Don’t wait as long as me. Give it a try. And I didn’t even mention Yolanda who is very gracious.

Their super taco is DELICIOUS! Nice size and good price. They take order fast and get your food out just as quickly.

Yolanda’s is a great spot! The food is delicious and the service is warm and friendly. They have been at it for a long time and there is a reason for that. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS MOM & POP GEM!!! It’s outstanding!

Best carne guisada I've had in San Antonio. Homemade salsa with a great, bold spice level. Homemade flour tortillas.

Sweet lady helped us, I'm assuming it was Yolanda.Had the papa and chorizo taco and barbacoa. My boyfriend had the huevos rancheros. We liked the fresh salsa and Ranchero sauce. Boyfriend and kid also liked the bacon. Good Tortillas!

The tortillas weren't fluffy or homemade Carne guisada had to much cumin,chilaquile taco was just corn tortilla with egg & no cheese or salsa,bean & chorizo was dry & no taste!

Parking: One. Long strip, you're lucky if you find an empty space!

Forgot to leave a review the other day but have to say that the tacos here are on point! Especially the bean and egg with cheese??Everything homemade and fresh i definitely recommend if youre in the area

Unpretentious building with excellent food, unbelievably low prices, and friendly helpful staff. Found based on Google reviews when visiting in May and have returned twice (so far) this visit and introduced friends. Absolutely recommend.

Parking: Parking is a bit dicey right now (Nov 2022) due to ongoing road construction. Still, we had no problems parking in front on either visit.

Homemade and delicious food. The carne guisada was tender and flavorful. However, the chilaquiles were my favorite. According to the owners, Yolanda and Perfecto, they have been serving their delicious homemade food for almost 34 years. In fact, several people at the restaurant mentioned they have been loyal customers for many years. Yolanda and Perfecto are excellent hosts, treat customers like family and they know how to make delicious food.

When I am in the area I will definitely stop by for lunch. The tacos were delicious.

Warm environment. True authentic food. Try the chorizo egg and the Carne gusida. You will be back!
