Love this place. It’s our neighborhood sushi spot and they take pride in their craft. We’ve been so many times that we know the waitresses by name and they’re the best.

We’ve tried some of the other “high end” sushi spots around San Antonio and I still believe Yummi beats them in food display, service, and great prices! We’ll continue being regulars.

I love this little hidden gem. Great food! They never disappoint. They offer many options that I don't see in many sushi restaurants and everything is made fresh as ordered. If you are looking for authentic, then you can't miss Yummi's.

The food was delicious. Fresh and super flavorful. Sapporo was super cold and the ginger and wasabi hit the spot! It's my 1st time here but I'll definitely be back!

Been here a few times with people but this was my first time coming alone. I got there at the perfect time, before any after work rushes. I got seated immediately at a table by the window in the corner, which was perfect so I could stare off into traffic if I wanted to lol everything came out quickly but not too fast that I wasnt ready for it. The cucumber salad was sweeter than I like but good nonetheless. The Ceviche Roll is where it was at though! Delicious and a lot of food. (Don't let the photo deceive you, its a bad angle haha)

Had the greatest waitress ever! The food was amazing and our waitress went above and beyond anything I ever expected! Sweet Lady on top of great food and a chef that went above and beyond as well to make a roll i could have is just beyond words!

Ambiance & Service
The service here is consistently attentive and friendly. We felt well taken care of, which helped create a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

Food Quality
We opted for the sushi & sashimi platter, perfect for sharing. The fish tasted exceptionally fresh—melt-in–your-mouth grade. The sushi rice was well seasoned and the presentation was elegant. While the platter hit the mark, personally I lean more toward rolls and appreciated that they offer great options in that department too.

Balance of Rolls vs. Platter
Although the sashimi was top-tier, I found myself craving rolls more. Just a personal preference and not a reflection of the establishment. The kitchen takes pride in their made-to-order rolls as much as the raw-bar selections .

If you’re in the mood for fresh sashimi and appreciate solid service in a pleasant atmosphere, this spot definitely delivers. But for those like me who favor rolls, I’d recommend trying their specialty rolls next time—just as fresh and perhaps even more satisfying for roll lovers.

Will we return?
Absolutely. It’s a dependable go-to for Japanese cuisine — especially if you’re dining as a pair and want to mix sashimi with a few favorite rolls.

The sushi was amazing, service was great, and atmosphere was perfect. My 6-year-old loves sushi and he loved this place. The waitress was so nice and accommodating and the food was delicious!
