Look at the menu before you come in, this place is busy and the workers move fast. They are super kind and hilarious, and will say funny things in the mic calling numbers out. We got an italian and a club, make sure you specify what size sandwich you want. The sandwiches were really yummy and worth it. Overall a must try for lunch.

So my husband and I were sitting at Gino’s deli and we sat across from a cool looking guy with Porsche keys… we got to talking and we established that we were all a little disappointed with the sandwiches and how it was overhyped on TikTok.. Porsche key guy says… “you gotta try Zitos on Broadway”… so we stopped eating and came to Zitos…. Porsche key guy did not steer us wrong… best sandwich we’ve had in the San Antonio area.

Got a wheat bread Italian beef full and bag of chips 12 bucks. Not bad better than subway. Bread perfectly toasted fillings were a bit bland but maybe I just picked a bland sandwich. The homemade charro beans side was amazing.

In town on Vacation, amazing service,the owner was in and chatted me up,gave the kids Gelato and cookies and gave the wife brownies for her Birthday....this was such a pleasant experience, I recommend to all!!
