Closed??? Came at 1:30 in a Wednesday and it's closed, doesn't look like it's been open in a while but no information on the door. Bummer. I loved this place.

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to have breakfast with Steve whil staying downtown. Even though the restaurant was extremely crowded, Steve went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.

Good food, limited seating, but it does have outdoor seating that overlooks the riverwalk.

You got to go to Zocalo!I went here two days for lunch and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and the service was fast! The first day I had the La Cubana Sandwich and it made me think of Jon Favreau in the movie “Chef” in his quest to make the perfect Cuban sandwich, and like the movie, this sandwich did not disappoint. The next day I had a Mahi Mahi rice bowl and it was delicious! The fish was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth; the rice and vegetables were fresh and tasty. The meals are served with tortilla chips and they had a selection of chili sauces that you could choose ranging from mild to super spicy. The price per meal was around $10-$15.Stop on by and enjoy!

This was so unfortunate! The food was good, staff not so much. I started by ordering the pozole, the guy let me know they only had that in the winter. (It was on the menu and didn't note that, but fine.) I then order a salad with mahi mahi. The menu said the salad would be $10.95, plus a $2.99 upcharge for the mahi mahi. When I get to the register the guy charges me an additional $8.85 for the fish (in addition to the cost of the salad). When I questioned it and pointed out the price on the menu he gave me some nonsense that the upcharge was per piece, and it was required to have at least three pieces. So at the end of it I paid $25 for a fast casual salad and drink- salad was fine but definitely not worth it! This is pure speculation, but I wondered if he was hassling me for wearing a mask. The location had several "please wear a mask" signs up so I felt good about going in, but definitely none of the staff members wore them.

Found this place randomly and so glad we did. The food was great and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend eating here if you have the chance.

I love their Cubano sandwich. It's my go-to whenever I'm there. Great location next to the river on Houston ST with a nice little outdoor space out front. So glad to have Zocalo Mio back even if on a limited schedule. We missed them during the long pandemic shutdown and I wasn't sure if they'd ever be back.

First time visiting San Antonio and found this little gem! The food was delicious and the portion size was decent. I was especially impressed with the mahi mahi tacos. There was a generous amount of fish in there! Definitely my favorite. Overall we loved it. Great place for some lunch by the river walk!

This place was solid!Location = 5.Ambiance/Food = 3.Think qdoba or chipotle. Very similar type offering and experience - tell the what you want and they will add it to your bowl/burrito/etc.They also had a bar with limited cocktails and beers.Decent lunch spot!

Mexican food and the setting at this place is great. The service was friendly and sociable. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I loved.
