Our waitress rubbed her runny nose up & down her hands/forearm then without washing handled our food! No manager was on duty at the time to talk with us. Completely unacceptable and DISGUSTING.

This seems to be a local favorite so we went to check it out while in the area. For my daughter and I, the poor service we received from our waitress is why we wouldn't choose to visit this establishment again.

My family and I ate her today 7/21/24 and had a WONDERFUL lunch. If you get a chance to go, the crab cakes and chicken fried steak are a MUST!!!! Shana was our server. She took very good care of us and made sure our drinks never ran out in this Texas heat!!! My 11 year old says we have to come back one a week!!!

Our server was the best part of our visit. The amount of food we got for the price was good but nothing tasted homemade. It all tastes like cafeteria food....frozen, canned, or out of a jar. There wasn't anything "fajita" about the steak fajita quesadillia. It was just tough steak lacking flavor. I'm torn on the atmosphere because it does feel cozy and the nice server was a plus, however...we were forced to listen to a different server complain and gossip the entire time. She's VERY loud and I heard her say the N word 3 TIMES! We shopped in the small store attached to the restaurant and while I was waiting outside for my girlfriend to finish up, she sat right outside the front door, smoking a cigarette, complaining about work and workers with no lack of profanity. Very unprofessional and we will not be returning to this establishment.
