I ordered 3 tacos of chicken they charged me 4.50 for each taco and 2.99 for the lettuce they added, overpriced and they where cold the tortillas weren't even fried just warmed up never going there again so disappointed ?

I ordered the enchiladas poblanas, a very delicious plate. The waitress was very helpful in answering questions and in service. My second trip, she remembered our orders.
i have been to this place before and the nachos were very good. now a few years later much has changed. this is the first time i experienced racial discrimination mexican to a caucasion. the breakfast was served cold. although it was cooked except for the potatoes which were only thawed from the freezer. at check out the clerk taking money from 2 men in front of us were making snarky remarks and one went behind my back and continued antics. his friend was looking sheepish but was part of it as well as all the staff who were around. when i pressed to know what was so funny the first clerk went away and our waitress took our payment and was unwilling to explain except some lame words that the one man was the other waitresses boyfriend. i am sorry there is so much unacceptable behavior towards them but we went there because we were hungry not to be disrespected. the only reason i give a 2 is they made sure the coffee cup was full. we have not been sick from the food so thats good but not sure if they spit in the food to show further disrespect. not good for carmalitas business....

Limonade was nasty. No fountain drinks. And the side of beans I ordered were microwaved you can tell because it had a layer of crust all around the beans.

I asked them how long it would take to get my food because I was on a 30 min break, and they made sure to bring me my food right away even tho they had a huge party here before me. Such sweet staff! Thank you.

Been here at Carmelita’s Restaurant several times for breakfast and lunch, food has always been great so has the service and of course I try to go during the day when everyone is at work so it not that packed, daily lunch specials too. ??
