Got the 8 piece family meal w large fries and jalapeño poppers. Spent half of what churchs, KFC, or Popeyes would have been. The chicken was delicious, savory, and juicy. Best Fried chicken in the RGV.

I'm retired military that moved to the Valley and reside in Harlingen I love fried gizzards and down here its hard to find Googled and found star-lite chicken that has them in pharr tx don't mind making the trip .

Nice little spot in San Juan, TX serving a variety of fresh burgers, fried seafood and fried chicken. The food is made to order so it is always fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and welcoming all the time. My go to is the 4 chicken tender plate with BBQ sauce.Parking: Very few parking spaces but you can park on the street if all the spaces are taken.
The BEST fried chicken! I'm 70 and it literally took me back to my childhood and my mom's southern fried chicken made in Crisco in her black cast iron skillet. The chicken and onion rings were piping HOT! Loved it. I'll be back.
