The staff was extremely nice and the restaurant has a very home-y atmosphere. The prices were also extremely reasonable.The food however was very disappointing. It was an hour and a half before close so that might have contributed to the food quality, but the food was very bland. The potato was scrumptious and the bistek tacos were okay (a little dry for my taste), but the trompos tacos were truly abhorrent. It sort of tasted like how Home Depot smelled. The beans were also quite bland and required the support of 1 whole lime and an assortment of seasonings to make it decent.There are a significant amount of 5 star reviews on this place so maybe this was just an off-day for them. The food is fire. I get my usual combo maíz with a papa with only butter and cheese cuz I hate bacon and sour cream. Comes with complimentary frijoles. Been coming here since I was a kid and it's my must go spot whenever I come home. The service is always good and it's nice to see the same employees here. I wish they had topo chico The ambiance is normal and way better after the remodel Barely any parking so plan accordingly lol

Has been in business since I was a little kid and is still most of the time packed with customers. They have a great combo deal that comes with tacos, baked potato, beans, soda and condiments on the side for less than $8.

Horrible customer service & Flavorless food. Ordered over the phone and when i went to go pick up order and since i was paying with card she had me waiting there while other customers paying in cash were being attended and i was completely forgotten about. All she did was press 2 buttons after attending everyone else and pushed my receipt towards me. No sorry for the wait. Never again! Never going back. Plus the food was packed horribly and messy.
